A cherry blossom on a tree,
A bush planted by the sea,
It seems to me that both are free,
However,
This can't be true,
As they're both grounded
To their roots.
Should one come free,
Oh it would die,
Not realizing its sacrifice.
Both these things,
Though they are small,
Relate to us
Through it all.
A cherry blossom on a tree,
Is still connected to you and me;
And the bush by the sea,
Is grounded, same as you and me.
