Anjana's POV

Oh god I'm standing in front on him still he is Starring me constantly so I forward my hand for him to shake but he was still standing dumbfounded . At last he came from his dream world n shook his hand with me. He asked me to sit on the bench near the pond. We both settled down on a bench. I was the first to start.
"So how is your work going " he replied "good " with a smile on his face. I took a deep breath and started with "Coming to the point, I know what you want Akhil, but I'm not ready for this marriage. In fact, I don't wanna marry anyone . Don't get me wrong if you think that there is some one else whom I want to marry and my parents are against it . Then you are absolutely wrong. I'm not at all engage with any one I have certain reason to not marry you but you are good person there is nothing like that you don't deserve me in fact you can get any girl but I think I don't deserve you because if I marry you then you will be the only one suffering in this relationship. I will not be able to fulfill all your expectations because I also don't expect anything from you. " I spilled out everything that I had in my mind. He took deep breath and said "so I'm good haa.... and can get any girl ...OK. I loved this compliment thank you.... But may I know the reason why you are not getting married to me? He smirked. "idiot " I muttered to myself "I heard that " he said, gosh am I loud to him "there are some personal issues for which I'm not marrying you " I replied sweetly to him "yes I want to know that personal issues only...." oh god why he is so interested in knowing my personal life. "But I don't wanna tell you " I replied bit irritated. "why ,don't you trust me? " He questioned. "It's not about trust Akhil, but why you wanna know? " I questioned him in return. He smiled and then said "because I want to marry you and I think I like you but if anything is stopping you then at least give me a perfect reason for that ". "That is something related to my past that I can't tell you " I said lowering my gaze because I can't face him. "see Anjana if your past is stopping you then don't worry. In fact I too have a past and soon I will reveal it to you but don't step backwards just because of your past"he said in bit serious tone. Anjana why are you stopping your self just because of your past at least look at him once he is good looking ,smart handsome, earns well , mature, responsible and most important he likes you so he will try to keep you happy my inside voice told me. When I was engross in my thoughts he pat on my hand saying "where are you lost, thinking about me haa.... " he smirked with evil smile on his face. " Flirty " I whispered with a smile . "So are we friends " he asked me forwarding his hand "I don't make friends so early " I said and he took back his hand with sad look and next moment he cheered up saying "Ohk it means I have to earn your friendship ha... and your trust too.... ".I replied "you can say that " with a laugh. I think he is right person for me and if papa had selected him for me it means there would be something special   about him. I was thinking all this in fact after a long time..... no a very long time.... I'm thinking about any boy in my life should I give second chance to my life if it will hurt me again then I don't know what will I do. I was just indulge in my thoughts then I realized a gaze on me and yes it was again from him Dr Akhil Roy hmm.....  nice name .Now I'm checking out him he wore a formal shirt of light sand colour with dark Blue Jeans he looks smart in formal. "done checking out me ha... "he chuckled in his flirty tone. "OK I should leave now and I will think about it " I said and got up to leave when he caught my wrist by his hand and said in a requesting manner " you will meet me again na..." first I removed my wrist from his hand and sat beside him and then replied him "Akhil you are a good person plz don't waste your time on me. I may agree for this marriage but I can't guarantee you that you will be happy with me whole life, sometimes I may hurt you by my actions the only thing that I can promise to you is loyalty ,honesty and faithfulness and nothing else. You may not be able to receive my love but I will try to adjust with you and if you agree with all this then only I can say yess...."I stretched the word yes. He was little bit sad hearing this but very next moment he cheered up saying "so this means you agree with this marriage haa.. "."How can any one be so positive Yaar " I said with question mark on my face. He again started with his flirty tone "Because Prof. Anjana Paul I'm  B Positive " "OK spend some time with me so we can know each other if then also you feel that I'm not right person for u than as ur wish you an refuse me" he ended saying this. "So I'm leaving now inform me when you are going to meet me again just text me the time and address. Bye.... see you soon"
I said and left but he called me from behind "Anjana " I turned back to see him rushing towards me "Shall I drop you" he asked me. I replied "No.. thanks .Akhil it's fine I can go on my own " "OK then, bye we will meet soon "he said "yeah sure..... bye "I replied and left from there.
