Zahara (POV)

I sat at my desk going through my files of chemical experiments gone wrong. My partners and I have been struggling with trying to make this new product that would be put on the market in four months but we still haven't worked out the side effects.

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket causing me to close my file and to look at the caller ID, it read Chandler, my fiancé.

"Hi baby." I smiled. Me and him were getting married in less than 9 months. With both of our careers going we decided that it was a good place to take our relationship to the next level.

"How are you doing beautiful?" He asked. I fiddled with my pen.

"Stressed out and tired." I whined, he chuckled but I knew somewhere in his voice he was trying to tell me something.

"Zahara don't get mad." He said and I knew what he was about to tell me wasn't going to be good news.

"What is it?" I asked. I heard him sigh on the other side.

"I have to go out of town tomorrow to land this big deal in New York." He said.

"Chandler my big Ceremony is tomorrow and you promised me that you wouldn't have to go on a business trip." I exclaimed getting irritated.

"I know baby, but this is a big deal for the company. Do you realize that this deal could land us at the top?" He said which I me to rolled my eyes at.

"And this is a big deal for me, everybody is going to be there to support me except for you!" I said.

"I know and I will make it up to you I promise." He tried to reason but I've heard it all before.

"By what? Taking me shopping? To the spa? I have my own money for that! How is it that I support you in everything?! I take off business trips to come to your ceremony's but you can't for me!?" I yelled.

"Let's not arg-" I didn't let him finish. I hung up the phone and tossed it on my desk while running my hand down my face it seems like I'm the only one supporting one another when we should be meeting half way.

I packed up my stuff and left out of my office. Once I got home I couldn't wait to hop in the bath to relax my muscles. I ran some warm bath water in our jacuzzi like bath tub and threw in a couple bath bombs.

I turned off the water once the tub was ready. I stripped out of my work clothes and stepped inside the tub which instantly relaxed my muscles.

My phone lit up and I looked over at it to see a message from Chandler telling me that he's not coming tonight because he wants me to cool down. I didn't even respond while I laid back.

I grabbed my rag and washed my body before relaxing again. I got out after about an hour and wrapped my towel around my body before walking out of the bathroom and into me and Chandlers room. I put on my bra and pantie set before putting on my silk gown and pulling my hair into a ponytail.

I turned off all the lights before getting comfortable in the bed and drifting off to sleep.
