More than Best friends?

You have been best friends with Harry since first grade. It was now senior year and prom was just around the corner.

Of course you wanted Harry to ask you, you've had a crush on his forever, but you were scared to ask him if he felt the same way.

"Hey (y/n)." Harry smiles as he pulls you into a hug. "Hey Hazza." You smile and pull away."So what up about prom?" You ask, trying to sound casual.

"I totally forgot."He chuckles and you laugh, thinking that you may have a chance. "So who are you planning on asking?" You ask your best friend.

He starts to think and shrugs his shoulder. "I dont know. Who ever I feel is right." He says and your heart falls as you see who he is looking at.

The popular girl Kristen. Blonde hair, green eyes, skinny, if perfection was summed up, it would be her.

You turn back around and you put a fake smile on. "Who ever you want to ask." You say trying not to cry. You knew he wouldnt like you. He sees you as a best friend. Thats it.

Nothing more.

"So (y/n). Wh-" the bell rang and it was off to class. Harry walked you there and hugged you goodbye.

Your classes went on fast and you wanted this whole year to go by fast. You didnt want to deal with a broken heart.

"(y/n)!" You hear Harry call you. You keep walking but feel bad so you turn around to see your best friend running up to you with a rose.

Your heart fills up as you see him. "Hey, I finally know who im asking." And once again he looks past you to Kristen.

Your heart falls again as you keep looking at her. "(y/n)?" Harry asks and you wipe your one stray tear away before looking at him.

Your lips fall agap as you take in the sight of your best friend on one knee, holding the rose up to you.

"Will you (y/n), go to prom with me?" You nod your head and take the rose.

Right when your about to say thank you, Harry presses his lips on yours. "Will you be my girlfriend

(y/n)?" He asks and you nod frantically before pulling his neck down to reconnect your lips.
