This chapter is going to be shown from 6 different POVs (5 for the characters and the viewer's POV)
----
Austin's POV
Austin looked in the mirror once more, fixing his brown hair. He wore his nicest clothes and winked at the mirror. He walked down the stairs with fast steps and took the small paper fixated on his fridge, being held by a small magnet. He looked at it, studying it carefully, word for word. The clock showed 7:30. Exactly half an hour before I'm expected...Perfect. Austin smirked to himself. He stuffed the paper into his pocket and grabbed his car and house keys. He walked outside to his Ferrari F60 America and typed the address in his GPS and turned the car on.
"Alright, baby! Show me how fun tonight's gonna be!" he chimed and took off. He couldn't wait to see how many ladies would be there.
Jonah's POV
While Austin was driving his expensive car, another young man named Jonah had already gotten to the host's home. Jonah was in awe, while he stood on the steps of the home- no, mansion is a more fitting word. He'd never seen such huge buildings before in his life, but enough with the praising. He was here for one reason and one reason only, and that was to be nice and show himself at a party he was invited at. He took a deep breath and went up to the door. He reached his hand out to knock, but the door already opened. He was surprised to see a tall man, dressed in white clothing. He was so startled by the sudden appearance, he almost fell off the stairs.
"WOAH! U-uhm, howdy there!! I'm Jonah..." Jonah said and reached his hand out for a handshake.
Aristophane's POV
Aristophane, a young adult who had already gotten to the host's house before anyone else, was examining every nook and cranny of the house, admiring some decorations and ignoring others. At some point, he was convinced that he got lost at the mansion when he heard the door opening and a host welcoming a guest. He looked out of curiosity and saw Jonah, a young man with blonde hair that had a... unique style to his clothing. But he wasn't going to mention it; the way someone dressed is not his business. He continued walking around the house and examining everything until it was time for dinner.
"How classy... I must say, I'm fascinated by the decorations you chose, sir! Simplistic, yet fitting!" Aristophane told the host.
Kenneth's POV
After Jonah was welcomed came another young man- a teenager even, who had dyed red hair and blue eye contacts. He was practically hiding in his oversized black jacket, which perfectly matched with his pale skin. He shyly walked into the mansion, looking for a quiet place to sit. A place where he could be alone. But, when he saw that there were only two other people there with him, he felt a little eager to sit with them, just to be polite. He slowly walked over to them, his head looking down to the floor. He held the bottom of his jacket as he slowly went up to them.
"Um...H-Hello... I'm Kenneth...Nice to meet you..." He said as he hid deeper into his jacket. The introduction was always his weakest point.
Evan's POV
After all the introductions, another teenager entered the manor. He was a serious man, with a blank expression and a piercing glare that could frighten anybody it met. He looked around and leaned on the wall, seeming like he just dived deep in his thoughts. He ignored everyone and everything around him, even the four people trying to approach him. He only twitched a bit when Jonah practically fell on him to greet him. He only seemed to care when the last guest -Austin- arrived. He stared at him for a good 4 seconds before he looked away again. Austin leaned next to him and introduced himself.
Evan turned to face Austin. "Evan. Pleasure." He simply said.
The host smiled, seeing all his guests gathered together. "Come, gentlemen. Please let me lead you to the dining hall" He said in a sweet tone. Everybody stopped what they were doing and followed the host into the dining hall, a room that looked like it could fit 200 more people. Then, the host assigned them their seats. Jonah sat at the head of the table, Austin sat next to Evan, and Aristophane sat next to Kenneth.
Jonah seemed annoyed that he was the one to sit alone. He tapped his finger rapidly on the table and scanned the area. Austin was trying to talk with Evan, who gave simple answers to his questions. Aristophane and Kenneth seemed to have a nice conversation. Jonah sighed. "'ey, you. The guy with the black hair." Jonah said. Evan and Aristophane turned around at the same time, however, Aristophane turned away when he realized Jonah wasn't speaking to him. "How 'bout ya let me sit with your pal since you don't look like you're enjoying him? Huh?" He said in the nicest tone he could have at the moment.
"Don't whine. I don't like the place I'm sitting at either, so you'd make it easier if you closed your mouth." Evan said with a blank face. Jonah's expression immediately changed to an expression of shock. He gently whispered "...Okay..." and adjusted himself in his seat. Austin looked at Evan with a disturbed face, who looked back. Aristophane froze immediately from the shock, and Kenneth just hid deeper in his jacket, now afraid of Evan.
"Hey guys, whatcha talkin' 'bout??" Jonah asked Aristophane and Kenneth, who were talking before Jonah decided to butt in. "U-Um nothing special..." Kenneth said, his voice getting quieter as he reached the end of his sentence. "Would you care to join?" Aristophane asked in a sweet tone. "Sure!" Jonah said, and the three of them started talking together. Evan and Austin actually seemed to have a pretty good conversation, and the host was just happy they were there. Despite everything going swell, Kenneth still had to wonder.
If this is a housewarming party, why wouldn't the host have mentioned so?? It doesn't look like it would be anything else other than that, so I'd imagine it would only be right... Nevertheless, he didn't tell anyone of his thoughts. Now, Austin was talking to the host, and it would even seem they were lightly flirting. Evan didn't seem to mind. He had his stare fixated on Jonah, who did his best to avoid making eye contact with him. Finally, he couldn't take it and stared back at Evan. "Sooo whatcha think of the host, raven?" Jonah asked. "I don't know yet. Also, Evan." He replied. Aristophane also decided to join the conversation. "He appears to be a delightful man!" Aristophane replied. "I could see talking to him in the future!" He continued. "Same here!" Jonah replied. Kenneth was just left to wonder in his thoughts about the host. The host was glad everybody was having such a good time and he smirked as one of his servants brought in the food.
After a while....
"Man! The food was awesome!" Jonah said. Everyone seemed to agree with Jonah's statement. "Anyway man, be seein' ya!" He said as he opened the door, only to close it after he was hit with very strong wind and rain. "NEVERMIND!" He said. "How are we going to get back home now?" Kenneth asked. Evan turned to face the host. "I'm sorry, but would you mind if we stayed for a bit more?" Evan asked. The host smirked
"Of course..."
