Chapter 2: When Shit goes Left

It was like time had stopped. Everything was at a complete stand still. Dre screamed "Michelle!" As he stared at her lifeless body. "don't do this baby please don't go!" He yelled. Tears fell down his face. "Sir, step out of the way!" A paramedic said. He reached down to Michelle, holding his fingers on her wrist, "we have a faint pulse" he yelled to the other paramedic. "She's losing a lot of blood, we have to get her to the hospital now! " Dre screamed, "is she going to be okay?" "She's pregnant!" No one answered him. The paramedic pulled out the defibrillator and placed it on Michelle's chest. Dre watched the machine closely. They used the shock twice before they could get the a steady pulse. Dre was relieved but still on edge. They put Michelle in the ambulance and rushed her to the hospital.

Dre got back to his car. DJ cried," is my momma okay?" Dre didn't know what to say. He replied, " she's on her way to the hospital." DJ cried more, "did they shoot her?" Dre nodded yes silently. They rode quietly the rest of the way to the hospital.

Dre thoughts raced in his head, "what kind of punks would run in a qt and shoot!" Who the fuck still rob stores?" He thought to himself. " my son is hurt?" " how we gone go on without her?" More thoughts rang in his mind. Dre knew he had to call her mother, he proceeded to call her phone. Before he could press send a call came thru. He looked at the caller id, it read "lil bro". He answered, before he could say anything. " bro I need your help!" Josh yelled " Me , B, and Dro ran in Qt, shit went left, B shot a woman by accident! No one seen us, but we gotta get the fuck thru. & get rid of the gun. Need you to call yo people and handle this." Dre couldn't say nothing, he looked at DJ and his pain turned to rage as he held the phone listening to his younger brother tell him what just happened.
