I once heard that a good cup of tea could fix just about anything life throws at you. I had found that absolutely fascinating. The idea is that a simple liquid to possess such an ability was astonishing, well at least in my little six-year-old brain it was. A cup, hot water and whatever leaves, herbs, and dried fruit you desire to create whatever flavor has inspired you that day.

Paige Ebony Rose, this girls got me on my 4th cup of tea. I could never quite figure her out and to be honest I don't think I ever will. From when I first laid eyes on the girl I was hooked like so many others. The bubbly blonde six-year-old changed my life as soon as she skipped into it. Still haven't decided whether it was for the better or the worst.

Even in reception years I could never keep her out of my mind. She was so compelling and just straight up confusing. Now year 12 and she still as confusing as she's always been and that's why I find myself sipping on tea, praying it will somehow fix this.

I watched her go from giggles and bunches to inked upped arms and a cigarette between her lips, more mystery than ever, more secrets than ever. And just maybe if she deems you worthy she might let you in on one of them.

It's like everything she does has an effect on me without even trying. From the half smile I get when she walks pasted me in the hallways with one of her many loyal followers that worship the ground she walks, to the way she steals my smokes when she finds me alone on the rooftop, to the simple small talk when we walk out of the lecture.

"Erg!" I grumble as I punched the table in my tiny apartment.

"Why am I thinking about her! " I shout. What has she done to me, it's driving me crazy. Me... Riley Grayson, can't get those blonde locks, fair skin, blue eyes and signature smirk out of my head. Finishing my 5th cup of tea I'm getting irritated. It's time for a smoke.

Heading upstairs to the roof top, I take out a cigarette from my pack placing it between my lips before finally lighting it and taking my first drag, it instantly relaxing me. Pushing the rusted iron door open, I wrap my leather jacket tightly around me before being hit with England's winter chill. Finally closing my eyes and leaning back against the cold brick of the roof top, taking another drag just a moment to clear my head.

"Hey Grayson, took you long enough." A all too familiar voice says breaking the silence in the only way I can tolerate.

My eyes flew open as the gorgeous blonde eyes scan me over, her signature smirk plastered on her lips.

Paige Ebony Rose, everything she does is effortlessly elegant... she looks almost like a dancer as she strides over to me taking a cigaret from my lips putting it to hers as per usual. I simple roll my eyes at this action, she's been doing this ever since we were 16, so much has changed but so much has stayed true.

I watch that she exhales the smoke leaning against the wall beside me.
I can't help but smile like an idiot. "What!" She laughs turning her head to me as I do the same she blows smoke in my face.

"Nothing, just you're crazy " I say shaking my head. She tosses the cigarette on the cement ground stepping on it with a combat boots.
She leans in, her lips hovering only millimeters over mine as her fingertip softly caress my chin gentle tipping my head to look up at her.

"Yeah, but that's why you love me" She says playfully, her lips grazing mine lightly as she speaks sending chills down my body.

Her lips finally drop to mine and I'm instantly filled with warmth as our lips mold together perfectly. I can't help but run my hands down her sides pulling her flush against my body, deepening the kiss as I gently suck on her bottom lip.

She then pulls away and I grumble at the lose.

"Sorry love but I think you're going to have to take me out first if you want this to continue because I definitely do." She said breathlessly before giving me a wink and turning on her heels before striding to the door leaving me dumbfounded.

My jaw drops... what just happened? Why? How? When? What?

Whenever I see Paige I'm always left with more questions and very few answers but nothing like this.

One thing is for sure she is right.
I'm hopelessly in love with Paige Ebony Rose and there's nothing to tea or smoke could do about it.
