Marienna woke up the next morning and started getting dressed, with her long and elegant dress she and Robb would today greet the guests who would be at their wedding. She put on her earrings finally and walked to the dinning room, she spotted the empty seat beside hers that now belonged to Robb. She lowered her gaze and greeted the rest with a small and forced smile. She looked at Jon with pleading eyes, what was she even pleading for anymore? She took a sip from her water and was ready to start eating when her future husband walked inside and sat beside her. His hair were messy and the sweat on his forehead was obvious
Robb had a quickie with Talissa that morning, she had stayed the night and he wanted to have some time with her in the morning too. When he got inside the first thing he noticed was Maria in the table, she was cold and distant. The glances she gave to everyone weren't that friendly or pleased, well to everyone except Jon of course. Robb sipped his juice and started eating ignoring his fiancé next to him, that was until he noticed her hands shaking and the cup of waterb almost fell from her hands, he reached for it and caught it quickly and looked at her.
"Are you okey?" He asked her and searched for her eyes but she refused to meet his and with a quick nod she stood up
" Excuse me" she whispered and rushed out of the room. Robb frowned and stood up following her before he could understand what he was even doing, suddenly he was concerned about her. As they were both out of the living room he ran and caught her arm turning her around only to find her shocked by his touch and concern. His other hand holding her wrist and his eyes staring into hers
"Marienna....what happened?" He asked concern obvious in his tone
"Nothing, Robb. Leave me alone" she said and struggled to free herself from his grasp but she just couldn't, she was pushed to the wall and with his on her she looked away. His gaze was so intense that she just couldn't face him now. And yes it did hurt that he was with someone else, it hurt that she didn't have the luxury to fall in love like he did. It hurt that she would be the shadow, it hurt that Jon would leave for the Wall and it hurt that she would be left alone with a husband that would love someone else
"No! I am not leaving you alone, I am here okey? Tell me what's wrong? I swear Mari-" he started saying but was caught off
"I am not stupid! I know you love her, that maid....and I know that our marriage will never succeed. I also know that you will have her and she will has you! And I will have none! And it hurts Robb! I am not heartless okey?! I am human too and I deserve to be happy too and I have nothing to be happy for! No family and nothing to hold me here! And I will never find love! I have nothing!" She called and pushed him back as she slid down on the wall and a tear rolled down her cheek, while Robb was speechless
"I....I am sorry, me and Talis-" he started again
"Keep it....I don't want to hear it Robb. It's not like it will change anything" she whispered and stared at the floor, with her eyes filled with sadness and tears. And the last thing she expected was Robb to sit next to her and pull her in a hug "don't you dare pull away" he said to her and held her close to him
