It was raining
and I was soaked
wet
but my body
didn't feel cold;
my heart
did.
So the song
was sang
and heartstrings
broke
as the rain
fell down
and my heart
grew cold.
I walked
and walked
and walked
and stopped
as a thought
came in
and the rain
pelted down
on my head,
on my arms
and
on my feet.
Maybe
we don't need
to find
love.
Maybe
we have to
give
it.
