Chapter two
I wasn’t moving, I just stood still in my place, staring at her – or gawking – for a couple of minutes. I didn’t know if I forgot to breath, or if the place around me seemed to tighten around me as if her aura took the whole place in its light.
When Julie started to talk again, reminding me that I was still standing right in front of her, I turned my head to her, trying not to be rude.
“I really like your hair.“ She giggled while she touched my curly hair. I frowned a little. I hated when people touch my hair.
“Thanks,“ I mumbled as I politely step away from her. It was creeping me out that she began to look at my face really closely as if it was some kind of treasure she never saw.
“You are actually more handsome in person.” She stepped forward to me, trying to look seductive. I, once again, stepped back a little to create a space between us. I didn’t know where she was going, but that was really weird, and if she continued doing that then it would turn into a really awkward situation.
She wasn’t stopping to move forward, and I didn’t stop my feet from moving backward so that we wouldn’t crash into each other, but as I took the last step, I hit someone, making them fall on he ground.
I turned around really fast, just to find the same golden color. The girl with the red hair was on the ground, putting her hands on the ground, trying to push her back up. One of her deep green eyes was closed, and the other one was looking up at me with puzzled eyes.
“I’m so sorry.” I said as I bent down, and took her hand, pulling her up. Lifting her was easy, she almost weighted nothing. I didn’t have the time to look at her face, before bent down again and took her books that were now scattered on the ground.
When I finished picking up her books, and giving them to her, I finally took a closer look at her face. She was really pretty.
Other than having an amazing hair color, and sweet green eyes, everything in her face seemed to be small; small eyes, small nose, small mouth, even her face was small.
She smiled brightly at me, making her aura grow bigger. “It’s okay.” She shook her head.
“Oh , Harry meet my friend Clara,” Julie said, giving Clara a ‘not a good time’ smile.
Oh, she is still there.
I completely forgot.
“Hello, nice to meet you. “ I paused, and extended my hand. “I’m Harry” Clara nodded her head, and shook my hand. Her hand was soft as a feather against my hand. Let’s not count that her hand looked so small near mine.
“You were going to show me around, right?“ Julie hooked her arm around mine, hugging it tightly. She probably noticed that I no longer gave her my attention, but I didn’t care, Clara had an amazing aura, and I was so tempted to touch it with my fingers.
“Yeah, right this way.“ I told them and took the lead, pulling my arm from her. Julie and Clara followed closely behind me.
“So Harry what are studying? “ Clara asked me, breaking the silence that consumed us. I looked over my shoulder, and smiled at her.
“Law.“ I answer,“What about you? What are you studying?“ Julie smiled and answered me quickly as if she was telling Clara to not answer
“ I am studying creative writing.“
“ That’s cool, I love books” I was trying to be nice to her, but I couldn’t help but notice how mean she was with Clara.
“ I can write you one if you want. “ She said, winking. My smile faded for a few seconds, and tried my best to keep it on my face.
