chapter 1: Manifestation of the stranger

Saturday night 10:45 pm
"Hello! Shirley, its me john....yes John Caville...we need to meet up, urgently! I think something is wrong with me, I can't explain over the phone .Just meet me at Central park as soon as you get this message.
Few minutes later
Shirley Andrews picks up her phone and listens to the voice message and zooms off to central park immediately.
On getting there the whole place is totally deserted and there's the toxic stench of death in the air...she then sights someone just in the shadow behind a street light,shirley says "John? is that you? You're scaring me, what's the problem"
A strange guy then walks out of the shadows totally bathed in blood and say with a scary jesty voice with a disgusting grin on his face "Johnny boy is long gone"
OH YES I DIDN'T MENTION THE PART WHERE JOHN AND SHIRLEY ARE ACTUALLY IN A RELATIONSHIP, MATTER OF FACT EVEN BEEN DATING FOR CENTURIES NOW..YEA THATS RIGHT THEY'RE BOTH VAMPIRES...well I'll leave the other part of their history for later...would unfold as the book continues
"Johnny boy is long gone"
On hearing this Shirley goes all vampire out and charges towards the stranger with a punch that would totally cripple any Goliath, But she is intercepted by the left hand of the strange guy which had turned really hairy and huge all of a sudden. She then scratches his face with her nails. With an angry voice of total anguish and terror, the stranger turns his face in the opposite direction as blood dripped from it and said "worse mistake vampire girl"...he then turns starting from his already transformed hand to the rest part of his body into a very dark crude werewolf with red eyes, he was so dark that even with the good sight of a vampire he could barely be spotted in the dark.
He beats shirley to shred and is about to rip her heart out when he stops all of a sudden and starts to yell "No..!!you're too weak...stay back in you weak vampire" and then he falls off his feet causing an explosive glow of white light, in the shady vision of almost unconscious Shirley, she sees the stranger turn back in John and then she faints.
Next day: morning 7:05 am
Shirley wakes up with john sitting beside her but he was fully lost in his thought(what shirley describes as johns own definition of reality) she taps him gently several times and calls him out, after a while john comes around. Seeing the disturbance in his eyes as she could barely remember any of what she had seen after the glow of light, she ask john what the problem was and john replied saying "we'll talk about it when you're done healing, its a lot to take in"
Later in the afternoon shirley is all dressed in black with her day light Ring on, she leans on johns should and whispers in his ears "so what's the big story..I'm all ears"
John begins to explain "When you travelled to North Carolina last week, I came across a road accident , there was so much pain in the air and I decided to help(typical John Caville),the victims and the ambulance struggle and so I decided to give all the injured my vampire blood which I did and compelled them to tell me the cause of the accident afterwards I compelled all of them to forget all that had happened.
They told me the accident had been caused because the driver came across a giant black mountain lion that just ran across the road #injured#..on hearing this I realised it was a werewolf and so I cleared the whole place and sent everyone home.
I then went in search of the werewolf to see if he or she needed any help for I could smell the blood was a werewolf far older than I was which is supposed to be impossible it smelt like centuries old English blood. Suddenly the werewolf appeared not too far from where I was, it looked really disturbed like someone was chasing it I noticed as it looked up at an invisible or abstract something which seemed to be striking it the werewolf looked wild and by far stronger than me but I felt pity for it and all of it sudden it looked towards my direction like it just got my scent and then charged towards me, I knew there was no way I would out run this massive beast and so I also charged at it.
