Sebastian

     Sebastian had had a crappy day. He had gotten up at the crack of dawn to do the dishes, take out the trash, and help his mother. He flopped onto his bed at 10:30, only to have Demetrius, his stepfather, scold him for "lying in bed all day". 
     Sam had called him, asking him if he wanted to hang out. Sebastian decided not to go over to  Sams. He didn't want to work on what Sam believed to be "The next big hit", he needed some alone time.  Sebastian had spent his day in front of his computer, helping some crab apple from Zuzu City with a programming job.  He checked his watch, 3:00pm. He was parched, and went for a soda.
     Sebastian got up and opened the door. Directly in front of him, was a person. Sebastian jumped back in alarm, and realized it was the new farm girl. Her hair was messy, and blue frost slime clung to her face. She had several scrapes and bruises, and there was a strange black stain on her thermal boots, and a lot of strange stains on her sword, an insect head. She stood there sheepishly, with a little bundle in her hand. "Sorry if I surprised you. I wanted to get you something" she scratched her arm nervously "It's from the mines" she handed him the bundle.
    Sebastian removed the wrapping from the item and found a strange stone. It was shaped like a small drop, and was a beautiful pale blue. It was a frozen tear. "I really love this. How did you know?" He was surprised, most people gave him crap they liked.
     She beamed, her teeth were stained red. "Are you okay? I could call doctor Harvey or even Maru has some remedies." Maru, his sister was annoying, but she was a decent nurse.
     "I'm alright, I think I'll just go to bed. The mines are scary, but nothing you can't recover from." She started to walk away "Are you sure?" She nodded.
     Sebastian stared down at the tear, he was impressed. How did she know...
