Prologue
The stairs creaked quietly as a boy crept up them to a room which looked like it ha seen better days. His pale face and dark hair glowed in the light of the moon. His long, nimble fingers drifted over a set of draws, collecting what seemed like mountains of dust. His black eyes drifted over the room before settling on what seemed like a normal mirror. He walked swiftly over to the mirror and whispered a few words. It sprung open with surprising force. The young teenager walked into the dark corridor and disappeared.
The hall was it with torches the glowed green. Skulls hung like trophies on the wall. As he walked, several skeleton guards bowed to him, but aid nothing. He soon came to a door and stepped inside. The chatter ceased once they realised who was in there company, they all bowed and took a seat at a round table. The teen sat on his throne and looked out onto his sea of followers.
“Welcome, my loyal servants.” The voice was high-pitched and cold. “Welcome to our new headquarters. We had to relocate once our spy told those snivelling Olympians our old meeting place.” He paused to sneer at the thought of being over-thrown by the Olympian Gods. “Luckily, the traitor was dealt with swiftly and now we can focus on our plans for the mortals.”
A cloud of green smoke rose up in front of their leader. A cold, hard and calculating voice seemed to come out of no where.“No so fast, I’m sure the Olympians, me included, would like to hear about your marvellous plans to overthrow Olympus, son.” The boy shrunk in on himself, but straightened back out and said equally as cold, “Well, at least I actually have a plan unlike you and your weakling relatives, father.” That was the last straw for the boys father. “Fine, have it your way, but before I leave. I, Lord Hades, God of the Underworld, hereby curse the first daughter in Hadrian Black, my son’s line. Through my power as a Godly being, I command it done.” Hadrian’s father disappeared in a similar way in which he appeared, leaving the son shaking on his throne, wondering what the hell just happened.

One thousand years later
A man hurried across a road towards a forbidding looking building. A bundle in his arms shifted but he quickly soothed it. He placed the bundle in front of the gates and quickly left, not before whispering be safe, my little angel. He left, not knowing of the dangers that were in front of her, not knowing that she would never quite fit in with the other world.
