shrek wakes up to the beautiful sound of his alarm clock. "Welcome To The Black Parade" is playing and it's so beautiful that he starts to cry.
"so paint it black and take it back!" he sings through his tears. the song finally ends and he pulls himself out of bed and makes a grab for his phone. he splashes his face with some cold water and brushes his teeth before throwing on his favorite My Chemical Romance sweatshirt and putting on some jet black eyeliner.
shrek stuffs his phone into his pocket and hurriedly runs down the stairs, two steps at a time before turning toward his mother. "mom, I'm running late today, so I can't have breakfast." his mother looks up at him from the breakfast she had been preparing. "alright, have a nice day at school, shrek!"
shrek puts his shoes and backpack on and scurries out of the front door as fast as he can. He sees the bus approaching and breaks into a sprint. Luckily, he gets to the bus stop just as the bus is pulling up.
he greets the bus driver and walks down the bus aisles, hesitantly. most of the seats are taken so he decides to sit next to a boy with blond hair and whiskers.
