Double minded

Chapter One

I hurry to my next class.  My long black hair is swinging around as I speed walk to my next class. I make it with less than 30 seconds to spare. I sit in my seat. My eyes move to the back of the class. Josh my boyfriend is looking at me with his blue eyes. Josh and I have been dating for almost 4 years now. His golden blonde hair almost sparkles in the light. I snap back to reality. I turn to face the front of the classroom. On the front bored in red whiteboard it says "Pop Quiz" Everyone grans. I sneak out a giggle. Mr. Leppen passes out the quiz. I glance one more time at Josh he is smiling at me and at that moment I forget about everything.

           The bell rings and everyone rushes out. Its the final class of the day and everyone wants to get home. Everyone but me. Unfortunately there is no track today. I look at Josh who is walking towards me. I smile at him. Josh barely knows about my sister. We never go to my house or near it for that matter. He leans over and kisses me on the check. 

" Do you want to go dinner tonight?" He asks, his voice deep and light at the same time almost soothing. I lock eyes with him.

" Sure!" I say. Anything to get out of the house. He grabs my hand and we start walking to my locker. I bend down to unlock my locker. It doesn't move. 

" Ugh" I groan." Its not opening again" Josh lets out a chuckle. He pushes me out the way.

He says one single word " Code?" I laugh.

"23-45-2" I say rolling my eyes. A sec goes by before I hear a click. He jumped up with his hands in the air" Ta da!" He says laughing. I roll my eyes at him. I put my stuff away quickly. I shut my locker and start walking with Josh down the hall towards the  exit. When we head out of the school the light burns my eyes. I didn't know it would be so nice out. Josh leads me towards are favorite spot which is under a tree. He pulls me down on the ground. His face shows he has something to say. 

" Do you have something to say" I spit out. He gives me a look. He grabs my hand.

" I've just been thinking Sky" He says worried. I give him a worried look. He looks into my eyes."I just want to meet your family Sky" I sigh. I knew that this would happen some day.

" Josh..." I say but the words cant find there way out. He gives my hand a squeeze. "Josh you know my sister has problems...." He glances down breaking our gaze. 

"Yes I know, but I still want to meet her" He almost sounds like he is pleading me to take him. He nudges me" Please Sky" I give in to his sweet eyes. He smiles. " Im sure she is nice" He says resurring. I think in my head yeah it depends on who she is today.
