Pain, I felt noting but pain endless pain, one cut, two cut. I repeat this everyday my stepdad abuses me because I'm a freak it's true I am, once I was so angry at my mom a random blast of lightning came through the roof and hit her she died instantly and my dad blamed me he called me freak and hit me so bad I was hospitalized for two weeks yet the funny thing is they aren't my real parents they are my foster parents, but he never got caught and continued to abuse me until tonight, I ran away crying, so here I am in the middle of nowhere in the beginning of summer still crying until I heard a crash I was on a hill and there was no one around, I looked down the hill and saw a camp and went down having hope that they could help me I saw lights on thankfully I ran down the hill at full speed and when I finally reached the bottom of it I ran again full speed into the camp, when I entered everyone seemed to be eating and when I ran passed the very large group of teenagers I think they were anyway and went straight to what looked like the big house of this camp I opened the doors to see a man drinking wine and playing cards with a guy in a wheelchair, when they looked up at me they seemed shocked and the guy with the wine jumped up and backed up " Chiron ( I think that's how you spell it idk????) do you know this camper!" "No, who are you and what are you doing here, are you Demigod or a  monster" I tilted my head in confusion "w-what's a demigod?" They looked at each other " and last time I checked I am considered a freak not a monster" " why would they call you a freak" the guy called Chiron  said " when I was nine I accidentally killed my foster mom" "how" Chiron asked me " when we were fighting...." My  voice trailed off " I'm not ready to tell anyone yet" I replied " child you are obviously and demigod, so you are to stay here alright" I nodded " follow me" he inquired so I did "what is a demigod sir" I asked questionably "oh please call me Chiron, and a demigod is a half human-half God kid they stay here during the summer to insure they are safe, but you are not claimed and have to stay in the Hermes cabin till you are claimed for now I will have a camper show you around them to where you are staying do you have any clothes?" " no I just ran away from home so just these" i said tugging on my shirt he nodded "on second thought I shall have you stay in the hades cabin so I shall have his son show you around" I nodded once again he then got out of his wheelchair and turned into a Half man half horse, I was shocked then I was interrupted by my stomach rumbling " are you hungry" "yes my stepdad only gave me leftovers from his meals and he never had any leftovers, that fat pig" i mumbled that last part I heard him chuckle " follow me please" he started to walk somewhere so I just followed,when we arrived there everyone was staring at me some with Purvey eyes everyone erupted into whispers I caught some like 'damn she be hot'  and 'maybe I should be the God and claim her as my own' there was one guy who caught my attention he sat alone he had beautiful black hair and dark eyes he looked so, so sad and depressed, yeah I knew that look all to well the expression I wore everyday " hello campers as you can see we have a new camper....., actually she never told me her name" "lyss " I looked up and he nodded " please welcome lyss, Nico I would very much like for you to show her around as she will be staying with you"  the cute boy who sat alone drifted his gaze to me and nodded " lyss, please go sit by Nico, he is over there" he pointed to the table, I slowly made my way over there and sat down and quickly made sure my sleeves were down so no one could see my scars, I also made sure that no one could see my bruises from my foster dad " if you're trying to hide the bruises you are failing miserably" he said and his voice caused me to jump a bit "so where'd you get them?" He asked me "umm, m-my f-foster dad  hits me cause I accidentally killed my  foster mother when we were having a fight" he nodded when he shifted his sleeve went up and I saw scars " so you cut?" I asked he seemed really surprised then realized his sleeve went up and quickly pulled it down " please don't tell anyone" he said desperately I pulled up my sleeve and showed him my arm "it's a cutter to cutter secret" he sighed in relief " if you don't mind me asking how did you kill your mother" I was about to reply but before I could Chiron called for us to meet at the fire pit so we went there but I was following Nico since I had no idea where to go and I quick told him that since I was staying in the hades cabin that I would tell him what happened to my mom, he nodded, later in the night when we were still at the fire pit some girls came up to me and of course without Chiron noticing that they were already making fun of me "like seriously lyss that's a boys name" said the girl from the Aphrodite cabin "my name is a girl name unlike yours like  seriously drew that's a boys name so leave me the heck  alone!" I snapped at her then she snapped her fingers and the rest of her cabin came over and pushed me around I was so angry I yelled almost screamed "STOP" "why should we" they taunted, the sky turned from a lightish darkish blue to straight out grey and dark and thunder and lightning rolled in I stood up my eyes went from blue to silver and flashes of lightning came down and I pointed my finger beside Drew and lightning flashed beside her she jumped and that was the moment Chiron stepped beside me and put a hand in my shoulder"welcome to camp half-blood daughter of Zeus!" His voice bellowed and my eyes returned back to normal and I took a few steps forward and the last thing I remember was me starting to fall and Nico catching me then I blacked out.
