(Above is  a picture of the main character)

I tramp noisily through the woods, attempting to hide my head from the wind and pounding rain. My heavy Brogans squished in the mud as my dress and cloak in my legs, making it hard to walk.

Just a little further

In the distance, I saw a bog, and beyond that, the cairn mound. Sighing in frustration, I slapped down my coat to my side, it wasn't any help in the first place.

I hated any body of water, it frightened me actually. But I was determined, and right now, I would have to set my frights aside.

I took one step into the mud-water and instantly regret my decision. My foot was suctioned into the mud and I struggled to pull it out.

"Drat!" I yelled, pulling my now mud filled shoe out.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, willing myself not to freak out.

In the pouring rain. In the middle of nowhere.

I looked at the muck, observing and pinpointing exactly where to step and went from there. When I was in the coverage of the mound, I sat down to breathe.

It was pouring buckets, and the wind howled in my ears. I was tired and hungry, desperate for a warm home.

I stood up once I regained myself, and crawled through the rock hole, and I felt like I would have spiders and bugs all over me.

I took in a deep breath, happy to be out of the cold rain and crawled out onto the other side of the rock. It smelled warm and pleasant, the scent of flowers and summer instantly making me happier. This meant I made it, I could be free. I slid back the hood of my black cloak and took off running.
