Olivia's P.O.V

"Darling, we've made you some soup." My mom told me as she walked with my whole family inside my apartment. I couldn't spend the holidays with them since I'm sick, and of course, they didn't want me to be alone on the holidays. As rich as my family is, they used my father's private jet to fly here with all the food they could bring with them. Sometimes it's a little embarrassing to be in a rich family... Everything comes so easy for my family... No one normal has that privilege. As much as I try not to act like that, I tend to seem like those spoiled rich kids, but I'm not even close to that.
"How are you feeling, baby sis?" Dean asked.
"I feel like shit." I answered, trying to hold a sneeze. I got the flu and I haven't been to work for almost a week. Not to mention that it had been hard to study that way, so I'm grounded to doing nothing. And as much as I love resting and binging some TV shows, I feel very stressed of all that I need to catch up to when I get back.
"We're here for you." He smiled.
"I don't want you to get sick too." I muttered at them. I've been feeling so bad, my head, my stomach and my throat ache, my nose is running and I can barely hear when people talk to me. It's so frustrating. I'm in such a bad shape right now and I don't know what kills me more inside; the stress or the sickness.
"It's okay. We'll be staying in a hotel since we can't sleep all together in your loft." Travis commented.
"All I can think about is having a hotel room next to the local pub-"
"Don't you dare, Dean. I'm drinking there every day after work." I warned him before he tries to sleep with anyone there or get drunk and embarrss me. There are many regulars since it's a very small local bar.
"I'm not going to embarrass you. Just get a little drunk..."
"I will punch you in the face. You know how bad my mood swings when I'm sick." He rolled his eyes, smiling.
"When are you coming back to work?" Alexa asked, changing the subject.
"Next Sunday. I believe I'll feel like a new person by then." If I don't get back to work... I don't know what to expect for the amount of work that'll pile up.
"Maybe after you get better, you'll take us around town." I nodded. There are many things I want to show them, not the tourist bullshit, but things I've discovered while living here.
"Of course I will." I changed my position on the couch from lying to sitting. Travis and Dean sat next to me on each side and Alexa sat next to Travis. My mom and dad went to cook for Thanksgiving. "I'm going to have a tattoo."
"Nice." Travis and Dean spoke together. Sometimes they're so in-sync. I looked at my parents, just to see their disapproving looks.
"Yeah, it'll be something small and adorable. On the back of my arm." They nodded. "I'm still a little unsure of what I'll do, but I have some ideas. I'll share later."
"Consult me first." Dean stated. Ah, yes. The know-it-all. He knows everything about everything. Ugh.
"Yeah, yeah..." I rolled my eyes.
"You're lucky you're sick, or else I would've taught you a lesson for how rude you are."
"Shut up..." I muttered and he attacked me with a hug, squeezing the life out of me. "You asshole!!" I screamed with the voice I don't have thanks to my sore throat.
"Say I'm the best." I shook my head. "Say that I know everything."
"Fuck off."
"Can you please stop abusing our sick sister?" Travis asked him and Alexa laughed at us. She seemed much more amused than she should be!
