The Truth

Vanessa's POV

"Guys slow down you know i am not as fast as you guys." I complained.

"I'm sorry were hungry." Jack said.

"You know what? I can't hunt or catch anything yet so i am just gonna go home."

"Oh come on Vanessa." Maggie said.

"No it's fine you guys go?"

"Are you sure?" Derek questioned.

I nodded my head "Go." i said.

"Fine suit yourself." he said as they disappeared right in front of my eyes.

I turned around and started to walk towards the house. I didn't want to run i wanted to enjoy the view. My name is Vanessa Grace Walsh, and those were my 3 siblings Jack, Maggie, And Derek. Every afternoon they go hunting, and Maggie always forces me to go, Why? I don't even see the point i can't hunt or kill anything yet, i don't even have fangs. I didn't want to go home, i knew if i went home right away my dad probably would have interrogated me. So i decided i would go to the bookstore, it was only down the street anyways. I made it there with almost no interruptions until,

"Hey Vanessa." i heard from behind me. I didn't even have to turn around to know who it was.

"Miranda, im sorry but i'm really not in the mood for your gossip and rumors right now." my voice filled with anger.

"Ok jeez." she ran across the street into some other store i had no interest in. We lived in a small town, so small it isn't even on a map. The population is 1132. So there isn't really much to do here. I finally got to the bookstore, i tried to open the door but it was locked.

"Gosh dang it." i thought to myself.

The door unlocked and opened.

"Hey Vanessa come in."

"Are you sure?" i questioned.

"Mmhhmm"

"Ok well thanks Tucker."

"Anytime. So what's wrong?" he asked. I looked at him and then he new exactly what was wrong.

"Oh i should have known."

"I just don't know why it annoys me so much." i said throwing my hands to my side.

"You're knew to this thing."

"Yeah yeah i know."

I like to write in my journal a lot. So i grabbed a new one of the shelf and went up to Tucker.

"Life sucks sometimes kiddo but you'll get used to it." he said.

"Thanks." i said while handing him a 10 dollar bill.

"No, No it's on me."

"Are you sure?" i asked.

He nodded his head. Tucker was tall, with blonde hair, and green eyes. He treated me more like a sister than my actual siblings did.

Veronica's POV

"Did you wanna go to the store to get some food?" my mother asked.

"I have nothing better to do so why not. What did you want?" i asked.

"Whatever you want, you have to remember you are the only one who still eats food."

"Oh right." i sighed.

"Don't worry sweetie your fangs will come in soon." she handed me a 20 dollar bill and i left.

Today was just like any other day. My siblings went hunting, and i sat at home and did nothing. I hated being a vampire, i am the only one who isn't an actual vampire yet and i hate it. I hated everyone in this stupid town anyways, the only person i liked was Tucker, Alex my best friend and Tye, he is kind of like a big brother to me. He works at the bookstore, lame i know, but he is really nice. I usually stop there on my way to the market. I finally arrived at the bookstore, i was about to walk in but before i knew it i was on the ground.
