Chapter 2

I chuckle and shake my head at her odd saying. I sit and think for a minute. There really wasn't anyone that, tickled my fancy. I think of all the decently attractive people at school, to see if anyone gave me some kind of spark. At the thought of someone, my heart sped up a bit, but no one came to mind.

"No, no one comes to mind," I reply seriously, looking at her directly.

"You sure about that?" She smirks.

"I'm pretty positive."

"You're face says other wise." Belle says, trying to contain herself from bursting out laughing. I give her a confused look, tilting my head to the side.

"You're blushing like crazy at the moment," she confesses before bursting into a fit of laughter. I get up and run to my dresser mirror, seeing my face was completely red and my hands were becoming sweaty.

"Soooo, who were you think of?!" She tries to say as she catches her breath from laughing so hard.

"I wasn't thinking of anyone! I swear!" I yell honestly.

"Hmm I'm sure you were!" She yells back playfully. I push her roughly and she falls on to my bed, landing with an "oof!" coming from her.

"That was mean-" Belle begins, before I hear my phone start to ring. I walk over to it, seeing it buzz on the floor and I pick it up.

"It says Unknown," I tell her slowly as she joins me by my side, staring at my phone with confused eyes.

"Pick it up and put it on speaker," she instructs me. I press the 'accept' button and then the speaker button.

"H-Hello?"

"I know what you're doing Zelda. I know what your plan is and I'm out for revenge. I can see you standing in your room, Belle by your side. The way that your beautiful black hair drapes down your shoulders. But no one, not even you, can stop me from getting my revenge on you. Be prepared for the worst."

And the line goes dead.

I drop my phone out of fear and my hands start to shake. Belle walks over to each one of my windows, looking out each one to see if anyone is looking in before she pulls my curtains over them. I walk over to my bed and sit down, my eyes glued to the floor.

"Are you ok? You look pretty shaken up," Belle asks, joining me on my bed and putting an arm around my shoulders.

"Do you think that was a prank?" I ask, hoping for her reassuring answer.

"Maybe. But I think whoever it was, was watching us," she responds, fear sparking in her eyes. I nod my head weakly in response, still in shock over the call.

"It's 8:30 now, why don't you go and take a shower so you can relax a bit?" She asks in her motherly tone.

"But don't I have to drive you home?"

"I think I should stay the night, if you don't mind. You're freaked out to no end I want to make sure you're ok."

"Thanks Belle," I sigh with relief while giving her a big hug.

"Now go shower, you smell." She jokes and we both share a two second laugh before I walk out of my room to the shower.

Two hours later, we're both laying in my bed, talking and giggling like crazy at the little jokes we were making. I look over at the clock to see it was 10:35pm.

"I think we should go to bed Belle. Besides, tomorrow's Friday so you can come over again afterwards." I tell her as I climb out of my bed to turn off the light.

"Yea I think we should," she agrees with a yawn. I climb back into the warm bed, saying a goodnight to her before rolling over and closing my eyes.

The sound of footsteps wandering around my room woke me up. Through squinted eyelids, I could see my dark room and the outline of a figure walking around my room.

"Belle...?" I ask groggily.

"What is it?" I hear her respond next to me. My eyes widen in fear. Belle is next to me, who's in my room? "Zelda are you ok?"

"I thought I saw someone in my room." I swallow the lump in my throat. She climbs out of bed, turning on the light and checking all around my room for anyone that could be stowing away in my room.

"There's no one here. I think you're still freaked out over the phone call. Just go back to sleep Zelda, it's two in the morning." she says, turning off the light and climbing back into the bed. I roll over once more, closing my eyes and trying to fall back asleep, hearing the sounds of footsteps again before I slip into a deep sleep.

Apologies for late update. Picture of Corey and the song that Belle and Zelda were listening to in the story. Actually, after writing the phone call part, my mom's phone rang and I practically peed myself since I thought it was creepy caller. Anyways, see ya~
