Why is it that when you want time to go fast it goes slower than a snail?!

For the billionth time I looked at the clock. 2:55. I started clicking my nails against the table. All my appointments were over for the day and those stupid five minutes that I have till I can meet Jong In-ssi seems to stretch for hours! I sighed heavily. I once again checked the time. 2:57! TWO MINUTES ONLY?!?

I banged my head against a table! Why why why?!?!

I opened my phone to distract myself. I was looking through my phone when the clock (finally) struck 3:00. Before I could even switch of the buzzing of the alarm my phone rang.

It was Jong In-ssi!

"Anyeong  Haseyo Jong In-ssi!"

"Anyeong Haseyo (Y/N)-ssi! I'm at the front of the Chungwa. Are you done working?"

" Oh. You didn't have to. I could have just met you there."

"Nah, it's fine. I'll meet you outside then."

"Sure. Just give me a sec!"

I quickly went to the washroom and checked if I looked presentable. I removed my scrunchie and let my hair cascade down my shoulders.

I then ran out of my office and out of the glass doors.

As I was scanning for Jong In-ssi I felt a tap on my right shoulder. I turned around and came face to face (more like face to chest) with a tall guy wearing  a brown jacket with a red turtle neck and his face was covered by a black mask and dark sunglasses. His grey hair flopped over his sunglasses further covering his face.

My first reaction was to think of all the places I can kick in case this guy's dangerous.

Seeing my startled face the stranger chuckled and removed his sunglasses.

I came eye to eye with the pair of brown eyes that has been haunting me since yesterday.

The crinkles on either side of his eyes indicated that he was smiling.

"Annyeong Haseyo (Y/N)-ssi! Mianhae for startling you. It's Jong In-ssi!"

"Aaah..." I said letting out a huge sigh. "Annyeong! Nah, it's fine!" I said reassuring him. "Shall we go to the coffee shop now?"

"Sure let's."

We walked to the coffee shop carrying on a random conversation of normal small talk. All the how was your days and the weather is nice and all that.

We thankfully arrived at the shop before the small talk ran out.

"So tell me what you want? I'll buy you anything in this entire shop. Enjoy!"

" Anything....Hmmmm large latte , a hot chocolate with extra whipped cream, two chocolate pastries, one  raspberry tart and for dessert one large blueberry cheesecake!"

My jaw dropped.

Seeing my reaction he laughed. 'Damn that laugh.... '

"I was just joking. I'll have ONE hot chocolate with extra whipped cream." He said his eyes crinkling again.

I ordered the hot chocolate for him and a large latte for myself. Like the gentleman he is Jong In-ssi took both the drinks and asked the cashier for a private booth.

After we settled in Jong In-ssi removed his mask and sunglasses. The ran his hand through his hair.

'How is it that he looked a shampoo commercial model without even trying! God, you did good with this specimen!'
