It was Monday and she made sure she went to sleep on time because there was a test the next day. Let's just call her Jay. Jay brushed her teeth, took a shower, and got into some comfortable clothes. It was around ten-o-clock and she wasn't as tired as she usually is. She hopped in bed, pulled the covers over her and rolled over onto her back. She got on her phone and put a nice playlist on consisting multiple artists. She laid upon the pillow facing the ceiling. Her hair was damp making her neck a bit hot. She tossed and turned for a mere ten minutes then fell asleep. She doesn't know what she dreamt of that night. It was all a blur, mere fragments.

She got up to the alarm, turning off her music, she thinks she did. Jay gets up, head dizzy as usual and looks in the mirror. (I feel funny) she says remembering that lately every time she puts her head down and back up, her vision gets blurrier, more delusional she thought. She grabbed her toothbrush and walked into the bathroom and begins to turn on the water. ( I have to pee) she says as she quickly wipes off the toilet and sits on it. She continues her business and gets up (My knee hurts) as she continued to the sink and washed her hands. She finished brushing her teeth, looked at herself one more time and continued to get ready. The 7:30 alarm rang after a while as she joined her brother in the kitchen once again, grabbed her water bottle and went outside to the bus stop.

She spotted her friend soon after leaving the house wearing a bright pink coat but was confused when the girl turned around. It wasn't her friend. A stranger. Maybe she's new she thought as she walked to the bus. The bus soon approached and she was the first one on the bus balancing herself up the steps and making her way to the back of the bus.

She sat down putting in her headphones and listening to the playlist she once played. The music cut on and there was a familiar sound. End credits by Eden cut on, feeling her eardrums with clear music and a sweet sound. She put her backpack in her lap along with her phone in her pocket and sat back in silence. The bus was normal as usual and from back here she could see her brothers head as he laughed along with the other boys. She twisted her head to the side to look out the window, somehow the road was moving faster and faster and she began to doze off...To sleep.

She woke up to a flick on her arm. ~ouch~ she thought as her vision began to adjust to the figure sitting across from her. (What the hell-) she began to say as she noticed who had flicked her. Wade. (Wade, why did you flick me?!). "You've been sleeping for a while, looked like you were dead" he said with a bit of concern in his voice. She peered over the seat to see no one on the bus. (Where is everyone) she said with worry in her voice. "I don't know, I don't remember anything." She thought about what happened but it was all a blur. Ah, headache. (What time is it?) "I don't really know, I just woke up here about 20 minutes ago but didn't notice anyone on the bus untill after I looked around" (Really? It took you that long to figure out you were the only one on the bus besides me?) "Get off my back, I had a rough night!" -QUIET BACK THERE-

Jay quickly looked up above the seat. The bus driver, not hers. (Do you know him?) She whispered. "Hell no, I don't even know where we are!" (Shhhh) she said with an annoyed look. She looked out the window, to see nothing but dessert. Pure desert. ~ What the fuck...~ she thought to herself. She looked back over to him who was staring at the bus driver with a scared expression. (Wade..) she whispered his name. (How did we get here?) "No idea" he replied without a clue. She reached into her pocket to call the police, but there was nothing. Panic flew through her as she noticed her backpack wasn't there either. The hell...How did she get into this situation and out of all people with him, Wade. UGH. This can't be happening, but it was.

-STOP TALKING- The bus driver yelled, as she noticed "Wade" arguing with him. (Leave it alone) she said. He scooted out of his seat to sit next to her. Such feel of annoyance surged through her as she looked back out the window once again. "We have to get out of here" he whispered. (I know) she replied anxiously as she noticed something coming up in the distance, a gas station. -ALL RIDERS GET READY! The bus is about to stop. Stay seated until I dismiss you.- As the bus came to a complete stop the bus driver got out of his seat and started to the back of the bus. At that point, she got a good look at him, tall, skinny black male with facial hair and nice white teeth. He was wearing a blue shirt with white stripes and black pants, in all honesty, he looked pretty good to be a bus driver. -Hello, bus riders, I am your bus driver William and I'm glad to bring you to your stop. All is well and make sure to stay focused, good luck.- And with that, he gave them a warm some moved into the seat across from them previously known as the "boys side" on her bus giving them room to move out of the seat.
