INTRODUCTION

About the Characters

•Although Scott will struggle throughout this story, his mental health will not be as bad as it actually was back in the late nineties to early 2010s. It doesn't feel right for me to completely portray those times as Scott nearly took his own life. I'd feel like I was exploiting that, and that's literally the last thing I want to accomplish with this story. So, Scott won't be perfect, but he'll be in a better state of mind. X-Pac and Shawn Michaels will also struggle with their mental health, but like with Scott, they won't be as bad off. That's just how it's gotta be, man.

•All right, so, as of the beginning of this story, Scott, Kevin, and Jolene are all completely single. Scott and Jolene are both divorced, and Kevin has never been married. The only one of them with any children is Scott, but he'll only have one child in this universe. That was the best way I found to work with how Scott and Kevin's relationships were IRL.

About the Story/Warnings

•There will be a whole lot of cursing in this story. No seriously, there will be a whole lot. (I'm kind of actually tempted to go through and count it all once I'm finished and post a final tally at the end, haha.) I don't know if have to put this as a warning, considering if you know anything about Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, you know they curse a lot, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew what they were getting into.

•There will also be sex, whether it's elaborated or not. What I mean is, there will be times when the sex is fully written out, but there will also be times when it's just mentioned or cut away from. I mean, at the beginning of the story, Kevin/Jolene and (to a lesser extent) Scott/Jolene have a friends-with-benefits relationship.

•There will be alcohol and mentions of drugs and abuse as well, so keep that in mind.

•Relating to the bullets above, there might also be some crude things said in this story? Maybe? We'll see how it goes.

•All chapters set from when the story began and on will be in first person point-of-view. Those chapters will go in an order, with the narrator switching from Jolene to Kevin to Scott. If a chapter is set in a third person point-of-view, it is a flashback chapter.

•I'm not going to be following the actual order of events completely, meaning that I will be changing some things. I'm putting this out there right off the bat so that if something doesn't happen when it did in reality, or it doesn't happen at all, you know why. There are just some things I'm going to have to play with in order to get things going the way I'd like, haha.

I'm beyond excited to share this story with all of you. This is something I've been working on for a while now, and it's one of my favorite things that I've ever written. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have. ❤️
