We were sitting by the bonfire, the sound of the waves running behind us and the cold ocean breeze hitting our backs. I was looking at him, under the starry sky. He was a glare, cast in the flames of the fire and the moonlight.  As I lost myself in his eyes, the noise of our friends laughing and the music around us faded, until I was only able to hear our synchronized heartbeats and to feel the warmth of our bodies. That moment may not be one of those worth dying for, but we both drowned ourselves in it. Maybe because we found safety around each other. He was the only one who could give me goosebumps and, in the same day, make my temperature rise. He made my heart beat faster and in the same day, he left me breathless. I guess that's when you realize you found someone special, when they can make you feel alive.

Earlier that day, we were jumping into the ocean from the highest cliff we were able to reach. Usually, our holiday breaks consisted of midnight swims, good music, deep kisses and rambling conversations. Although, last summer happened to be special one.

"Let's get lost!", he said.
