I remember the first time I wore a dress. It was in middle school, part of a game of truth or dare. It wasn't mine, of course.
"Mark! Truth or dare!" A boy asked me. We were about 13.
Me, being young and oblivious, didn't know the tricks they had up their sleeves. "Um... dare!" I had said.
They all started to giggle and laugh to themselves. One of the kids threw a pink dress at me. "Wear this for the rest of the game!" They said.
I did what they said. I smiled, saying "I like how it flows. It's very comfy," everyone stared at me, judging.
The rest of the school year was just gossip about me liking the dress.
Kids can be so cruel.
