Chapter 7

Toby's POV~

I looked down at Spencer.

She was in tears.

I hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead.

"It's okay. He won't come near you or us again. If he knows what's good for him," I whispered in her ear.

She nodded and walked over to the couch, where she plopped and buried her face in a pillow.

I sat down next to her.

"Hey, it wasn't your fault Spence. God, if that son of a-"

"Toby, no need to threaten and cuss. You're right though, he won't come back. But I guess he just couldn't resist this sexiness, could he," she said with a weak smile.

I grimaced at the fact that after what he did to her she was the one trying to lighten the mood, but I laughed for her sake.

"Better get those waffles, huh," I said as I got off the couch and walked towards the kitchen.

We ate breakfast and watched a movie, trying to put Spencer's mind off of what happened today.

Spencer's POV~

We finished watching The Vow and ate lunch.

I was quiet throughout the meal.

When we finished lunch Toby suggested we go mini-golfing!

"Sure," I replied.

We drove to the minigolfing place and got our clubs.

We had so much fun!

Toby swears he didn't cheat, but I'm not so sure.

I can't thank him enough for taking me here.

I love him so much.

Toby's POV~

I love minigolfing with Spencer!

She says I cheated, but whatever.

I think it really got her mind off of what happened this morning.

I trusted Wren somewhat, but now I realize that was a big mistake.

Spencer and I put away our clubs and got in the car.

We turned on the radio and headed home.

We were singing aloud to "Roar" when I spotted a car speeding towards us.

I tried to veer out of the way but it was too late.

They smashed into our car's side and we spiraled out of control.

We hit a telephone pole and I blacked out....
