I saw two people kissing in the corner of the room, and I couldn't help thinking how could anyone be in love? It crushes you in the end right? I rolled my eyes. I was in a place called the great hall its walls were about 5 stories high, the walls were a bright cream color in the light, the floors were brown wooden floors, and the tables were a dark wooden brown, and they were placed in four equal rows for each house followed by brown wooden benches on each side to sit on. I was sitting at the Slytherin table by myself; I was doing some left over homework from my first day of classes. Yesterday, I was sorted into Slytherin, I was surprised because I thought I would be in Ravenclaw since I am a bookworm, but I don't mind the color green it looks good on me anyways. I was really nervous at first because I was four years late to arrive at Hogwarts, no one really knows why, and neither do I. My long wavy black hair extends to the length of my stomach, my hazel eyes shined in the light, which are now the color of light brown, I have light skin color, with my round soft face, with a soft nose, and I'm thin like my parents before me. I'm wearing a black sweater, with ripped dark blue jeans, and black boots that extend to almost my knees. Suddenly, I heard a sound like an explosion I saw two twin red-haired boys near the entrance of the great hall: their long light red hair almost extends to their shoulders, they were taller than I, with light skin color, and thin. They both wore the same thing: a sweatshirt, with light blue jeans, and black worn out sneakers, the only different is the sweatshirt color, one wore the color red, and the other wore the color green. I saw another boy was on the ground, and he was crying. I stormed over there.
"Hey leave him alone!" I said, irritably standing right behind one of them.
They both turned around to face me; one of them crossed their arms.
"Don't you Slytherin's have nothing better to do than watching Gryffindor's every move?" The one I was behind said.
I rolled my eyes who did he think he is?
"I'm not like every Slytherin bonehead" I crossed my arms, and I felt pissed off.
"What do you think you were doing?!" I asked, rudely.
The boy stood up now, he had short brown hair, blue eyes, tan skin color, he had soft features of a young boy especially with his round jaw, and round eyes. I was a bit taller than him, he wore the Gryffindor team's fan shirt, with a huge "G" on it, with the colors of red and gold, dark blue jeans, with black and white sneakers. He started laughing. I rolled my eyes.
"I'm out, so much for helping a Gryffindor right?" I responded, rudely.
I started walking away, and I started regretting trying to help.
"See you later losers!" I teased
I can tell one of them was annoyed, I could hear it in his voice as he spoke.
"I never trusted Slytherin's anyways"
"Don't worry, the feeling's mutual" I teased, again.
I rolled my eyes, grabbed my stuff, and I left the great hall.
* * *
The next day after classes, I bumped into the same red-haired boy, I was in a hurry to go get changed, and persuade Professor Snape to sign my papers for Hogsmeade, I know only a parent or guardian could sign, but I wanted to try because no one I knew would sign it, not even my parents.
"Would you watch where you're going!" I said, impatiently.
He turned around to face me, and he appeared annoyed further than last time.
