here's a pleasant gushing to the rain. Always good to hear. Small trinklets of water tap on any available surface. No interruptions of thunder or lighting. The only interuption being that of the hustle and bustle of a modern city. It seems nice to have a bit of rain. To have fresh, cold rain pour down. Calming down those indoors and rushing those outdoors. It waters plants. Cools off a warm day. It helps us relax a bit. The ideal time to drink tea.
It covers the homeless, ruins a stray animal's shelter, ruins a bright and sunny day. Brings a feeling of hopelessness. Causes accidents and makes a person's final decision to jump off the building. It makes funerals more depressing.
Rain is beautiful.
But with it comes
Sadness
Is it bad to feel joy when it rains? Being able to jump into puddles. Splashing around making an even greater mess. Muddy boots and wet clothing. Why is it bad to have fun? Children crying, dogs barking, cats hissing at the rain's touch. People rushing in and out of buildings and cars. Umbrellas being purchased and opened just to protect those from the day's sudden weather.
The tapping becomes harsher, almost as of the sky was stomping down on us. Lighting and thunder strike down more frequently.
What's to come?
