Sharp, piercing through the skin,
Awakening your senses,
Like a pointed tip of a pine needle,
Fallen from its tree.
Pricking a drop of blood,
Seemingly harmless,
But dangerous all the same,
A sudden puncture.
Showing you how love,
It can hit you out of nowhere,
Because the girl's got pine cones in her brain,
And pine needles scattered about her feet.
