I carry a heavy burden
But don't try to help me
I'll carry it on my own
Your back shouldn't break for me.
I've fallen into the pit
But don't try so save me
I'll wallow in the dark
Your sight shouldn't dim for me.
I've lost my way
But don't try to find me
I'll travel the labyrinth
Without you lost beside me.
I'll wander the weary path
Traverse the endless night
I'll lift up the weight of the sky
Lose my mind and sight...
You must go on without me.
Let me fight my bloody battles,
Walk in the rain,
I may not be okay
But let my tears fall
You can't share my pain.
I must do it on my own
But...
don't
leave
me
alone.
