Hello readers. This is my first fanfiction. I've written a horrible one before but I never posted. I've made this account just for my favorite fanfictions. Please bare with me because I don't know what I'm doing. If I get any overwatch facts wrong then please tell me. Please give me feed back.

" I'm tired of fighting. You need to get your life under control. I'm the one who is working a very hard and demanding job while you do nothing all day," You said.

"No. It's not my fault that the only way to support you is to go off to war and lose my life," Your husband retorted.

"I'd rather have you die in a war as a hero supporting his wife rather than a man at home wasting his life on a couch. Get up now and at least try to find a way to help."

"I've tried and tried. It's not easy to find a job that won't get you killed in the middle of a war zone."

"I don't care. At least get up and hunt or do something that will help us."

"There is no point in trying. We will just die any ways," his voice become quieter as he said this.

"STOP," you shouted." Don't be like that. I know things seem grim for now but try to optimistic. That is the least you can do for me now."

" (Y/n), I can try but no promises that it'll work."

"I'm going to the market place and try to find food at a low price."

     "Be safe...."

You left the house and started to walk your way through the city that was crumbling. This was your city. The city that you grew up in, found love in, and will die in. You loved this place with all your heart, but looking at in now made you sad. It wasn't in the worst shape but there were many buildings in ruins and even more with holes in it. The whole area was dusty from the last attack that you survived months ago. Many were still recovering.

You finally made it to the market place. "Hello", you said to the familiar faces that you thought of as family.

"It's nice to see you again (y/n)," an elderly woman called. This woman was the woman that loved you like her daughter. She was the only motherly figure in you're life. Your mom died after giving birth to you causing your father to struggle through the process of raising you by himself.

"Adelaide," you exclaimed. You quickly ran up to her and hugged her. "It's been a while."

"Yes it has my child." She gave a sad, weak smile.

"Give me the news on any..." suddenly an alarm went off. You jumped and immediately knew what to do.

"I need you to move as fast as you can. We are under attack," you said to Adelaide. She looked up to you and nodded. You quickly maneuvered your way through the rubble that was never removed from the last attack. Adelaide on the other hand was struggling and tripping.

"(Y/n)...." she said while trying to get you to stop,"help someone else. There are many people who still have their lives ahead of them. My time has ran out. Go save yourself and children."

Your face was tearing up. "No," you whispered. You quickly picked her up and tried to move to the closest safe spot. Suddenly there was an explosion that sent both of you flying.

You tried to find her but couldn't. You say there in defeat and cried. Your eyes blurred from the wetness and your hearing was all muffled. The only noise you could make out was a faint screaming of a child. You instantly thought of Adelaide's words 'go save yourself and children.

You got up and instantly regrettted it. There was pain everywhere, but you pushed through. You followed the noise and came across a child stuck under rocks. You used all your strength to get the rock off and to pick up the little boy.

"Everything is going to be okay." You then limped your way through crumbled buildings trying to stay away from sight. You slowly but surely made your way to where your house used to be.

Where's your house and your husband. Your whole community was shattered. You lost all of your family within one day. What were you supposed to do now.

Then you snapped out of it and went to your shelter and dropped off the boy with the few other survivors. "I'm going to search the rubble to treat and find my husband," you said to the people in the shelter.

You were searching with your red bloodshot eyes. Trying to find your husband. Then you saw a familiar head poking out the ground. "Jonathan?" You asked desperately through your tears. You slowly made your way to him, but right as you saw it was actually him, another bomb went off sending you back and burning you in rubble.

________________________________     You later woke up in a mans strong arms. You thought it was Jonathan until you saw the man look down at you clearly showing you a mask with a red visor on it. Who is this? What just happened? Where is everyone?

I think this turned out pretty killer. What do you guys think? I am planning on updating at least once every week. This week is spring break so I might be able to post a few more than normally.
