I smiled the biggest smile I had ever smiled.
He knew my name.
"Bye, Conner!" I yelled, and walked home with hints of that same smile still tracing on my lips.

On the mid-point of seventh grade, we were assigned a partner project for science.
I couldn't believe my luck. I was paired with him.
We chose the topic of Black Holes. He even let me choose.

And he still told the teacher to gave us the same mark. 92%. I was so happy.
Later...my friend told me...he only agreed on Black Holes because that was the topic she chose.
And the night before, they gathered the information together.

Even if I lose my voice the next day, it will still be worth it.
