So it's my first full feature length story which I somehow haven't thrown in the bin like the last 30 and I'm pretty proud of that. The cover is also temporary, don't worry. That being said, I do not want to jinx it.
Eye of The Dead is a story about guilt, redemption and a boy trying to figure out his place in the world. A few things inspired what the novel is about.
The Last of Us with its characterisation of Joel and Ellie.
Red Dead Redemption and its main character, John Marston, attempting to ditch the life he had of crime and inevitably failing to. It also included the theme of change, but I'm not writing an essay here about it.
Last but not least, Logan which simply includes a broken man, past his age living in a world which is not familiar to him.
That being said, everything I write in this story is indeed original.
