"What?" She asked quietly.

"I thought you were too fine to be just a one night fling. It was like somethin' was tellin' me you post to be somethin' more. More than girlfriend or a wife. You post to be somethin' right. You was post to be mine." I mumbled the last part.

"And now that I might have a chance of finally gettin' you back,Ion care who heart gets broken cause I'd be damned if I let you go again." Damn. I can't believe I just poured my whole heart to somebody I actually care about. Not somebody but a female.

Lauren's P.O.V.

I wiped a tear from underneath my eye as I sniffed. Damn,he really does love me. I'm such a big ass baby but you'd do the same thing if you was in my place. He said he want me all to himself. Jesus,I can't right now.

"I love you,too,Eric and I feel the same way,of course." I said softly.

Even on the other side of the phone,I could tell he was smiling.

"Know what how 'bout I take you out to dinner tomorrow? You me and the kids?" He asked.

"Sure,that'll be fun,baby."

"Iight. Well Ima holla at ya later."

"K. I love you,Eric."

"I love you,too,Dimplez." I bit down on my lip as my cheeks start to heat up.

I hung up the phone. I started squealing and dancing in my seat.

I hopped off the stool,skipping over to my blackboard. I looked over the list and moved my eyes to a new subject.

Never love again.

I looked at the rule like it was a test. Needs a lil tweak in it.

I crossed out the never and smiled liked I had accomplished something great in my life.

"I'm gon get my man back."

The phone rang. I ran quickly with Evonne and Esiah trailing right behind me.

"Hello?"

"Aye baby,you ready?"

"Yea."

"Iight,Ima comin' in a few minutes."

"Iight." I hung up the phone and ran back to the living room where me and the kids shoes were cause I knew how I can run off time sometimes.

"Evie are you and your brother ready,baby?"

She nodded her head. "Yes ma'am."

"Good cause your daddy will be pullin' up in a few." I sat down and pulled Esiah on my lap to put on his black and white converses to match me and Evie's.

(I'm sorry y'all I swear this is my last time changing Esiah's character.😂😂😂)

After 5 minuets of getting everything straight in the house,Eazy's was outside with his music boomin' through the neighborhood as always.

"Iight y'all let's go." I open the door and let the kids run out there.

I made sure I locked the door before walkin' out. I paused as I saw Eazy being preoccupied with his bouncing car. The kids was all there for it to hype his head up.

I shook my head as I made my way to him. "Eric! Eric! Eriiiiic!"

It took him a while but he finally noticed me. He turned off the hydraulic to the car and came to me.

I glared at him with my arms crossed.

"What?!" He laughed.

"In my yard? Really?"

"Yea what's so bad 'bout that?"

I propped my hands on my hips. "You coulda hit my car you ass." I hit him with my purse and went to the passenger side of the car.

"You act like ion know how to control my car!"

"You don't let's not forget that incident back in '89." I arched my eyebrow at him and got in the car.

Eric gave me a playful mean mug and looked at the kids.

"Y'all ready to go?"

Evonne said "Yea!!!" Other than Esiah who was just running his mouth.

I laughed.

"Well-" Eric crank the car up. "Let's get this day started." With that he backed out the yard and drove off into the city.
