Rain, what does it feel like for it to run down all your curves and crevices. What does it feel like to stand alone trying to let all your emotions flow free like the rain?
The day was dark and bleak. The sun was not shining and the rain was falling like a cyclone.
And there I was standing in the rain, bathing in it you could say. Soaking up the atmosphere trying to make my life just a little brighter.
Drowning out the feelings that I had been suppressing, I let it all out. As I screamed into the nothingness spreading out in front of me, something struck me in my back. And when I turned around I saw nothing, the rain was too heavy to see anything and my mind was foggy.
And so the day continued as it was, rain falling, wind howling, and trees falling. The red crimson pooling around the girl was washed away so quickly that no one could see the events of that day.
The day that the floods came. And the day that they learnt that the world was slowly coming to an end.
All thanks to the rain.
