I managed to pull myself up and limp down the sidewalk until my body couldn't take it anymore so I dodged into an alley and sat against a wall. My eyes closed and I couldn't open them after that.
Cara's POV:
I was fighting off the two guys that were about to take Alex. I had hand to hand combat training but it didn't look like these two goons had any training. I managed to shoot both of them and by the time I turned around to get Alex she was gone. I then saw a blood trail leading down the sidewalk. The trail lead me to an alley where I found a wounded Alex sitting against a wall unconscious.
"Alex." I said running over to her. I gave her a couple light taps on the cheek but she didn't wake up.
After a couple minutes of trying to get her to wake up, I realized that it was of no use. So I slung her left arm over my shoulder and I dragged her all the way back to my car. I laid her in the backseat then decided to take her to my place because I couldn't take the chance at a hospital because Dustin might send more of his men to nearby hospitals if he finds out that Alex was hurt. When we got to my place I had already set up a cot with a mattress on it just in case something like this happened. I brought her over to the little make shift bed and I laid her down.
-2 hours later-
I had finished patching up Alex's wounds and had set her up on an IV. Her face was all bruised up, she had two gun shot wounds, and a stab wound, so let's just say she is not going to be moving around much for a while.
-2 days later-
(A/N Sorry for so many time skips.)
Alex has been asleep for two days, which means she should probably wake up soon.
As I was sitting their on the couch thinking about that while watching her, her hand started moving. I watched as her eyes fluttered open. She was really pale and weak but she still managed to move her head around. When her eyes landed on me she started freaking out.
"Hey, hey, hey calm down i'm not going to hurt you." I said while moving down to the floor.
"Why am I here?" She asked weakly while looking at me.
"You don't remember what happened?" I asked her.
"No." She said back.
"Makes sense, but anyways you were shot and stabbed so I brought you back to my place." I told her then she shifted on the mattress which caused her to wince in pain.
"Where does it hurt?" I asked.
"My whole body." She said so I got up and went to where I keep all my medical supplies. I got a needle that contained pain medication and a needle that contained a sedative just in case Alex get's antsy. I walked back to Alex and put the pain medication into the IV. Then I sat down next to her again. Alex looked at the IV in her arm then after she realized what it was she started trying to take it out, not caring about the pain.
"Alex leave that in, it will help you sleep which is what you need right now." I told her while holding her hand off of the IV.
"What I need is to go home." She protested.
"Fine, then you leave me with no other choice." I said then I pinned her hand down with my right arm while I took the sedative needle out of my pocket and put it into the IV. She stopped fighting and I slowly sat back and watched as she very slowly fell asleep.
The next morning when she woke up I gave her another dose of pain medication so she could sleep better since that's the only thing she can really do right now.
