Chapter 5

Connor POV

I felt so bad about bringing up what happened earlier today. I didn't know she felt so bad about it. She laid her head on my shoulder and I put my arm around her. After a little while she fell asleep. She was gorgeous.

Lacy POV

~dreaming~

"You're gonna pay, remember you're gonna pay" a deep voice said. I sat in the middle of a room in rags. A spot light shot down on me then another to the right corner then it moved to the left then behind me in the corners. Then right in front of me a spotlight shot down on a tall man with his hat tilt down. He laughed and took off his hat. It was Aldridge. "I loved you but you didn't feel the same." he said with a smile. "You didn't love me." I replied. He kneeled down "Yes I did" he argued. "Not like a uncle should have loved his niece." "What do you mean?" I started to sob. He grabbed my neck and started choking me while lifting me to my feet. I slapped him and he dropped me. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!" he screamed. "You raped me!!" I yelled. He didn't say anything. "And you went to prison and my life was better than before." I said then laughed. He tried to say something but I interrupted him. "I was f***ing 10. How cold hearted do you have to be!!" I yelled. "You've been stalking me for half my life, for what to kill me and go back to prison!" I continued. he pulled out his gun and laughed. He said "Maybe" and shot.

I woke up and screamed. Connor almost fell off the couch. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry." I said. "Oh it's fine" he said. "I'm gonna go change." I said. "ok" he replied. I took my bag and went to the bathroom. I changed into some shorts and a tank top. I came back out and Connor was laying across the couch sound asleep. I laid down on the edge of the couch in front of Connor. Then I fell asleep.

Connor POV

I woke up at 7 am and Lacy was laying on me. I decided not to get because I might wake her. I put my arm on her hip and closed my eyes. A few minutes later I heard foot steps. I opened my eyes and saw Jc in his boxers standing in front of the TV. He turned around ad saw us. He almost jumped out of his boxers. He ran back to his room and came back with some pants. Lacy started waking up and saw Jc. He waved and smiled. She turned her head and whispered, "How many boys do you live with?" "3" I replied and smiled. She laughed "Do you guys have any cereal?" She asked as standing up. "Yeah, in the left cabinet closest to the wall." "Thanks"

Lacy POV

I got up and got some Frosted Flakes. I came back and sat at Connors feet. Jc turned on the tv and we all watched Good Morning America.
