The last thing I remembered was me and my mom talking and laughing in the car. The radio was on, some old school music was playing. I made some stupid joke like I always did, and it made my heart so happy to see her smile, so I smiled along with her.
Life was perfect, I remember thinking that to myself just moments before it happened. I closed my eyes taking everything in, the music playing on the radio, the soothing laughter of my mother, until I heard the blaring sound that's haunted my dreams ever since that day.
HONK HONK!!!
Everything went in slow motion as the car was flipped into a ditch, I heard faint sounds of screetching tires and screaming until darkness overtook me.
That was 2 years ago, and since then I've never been the same person.
