"Come on Jeff I want to see the sunset." You excitingly shouted to your life long friends Jeffrey Dahmer. You had been friend since pre school and tonight was the night that you both would go your separate ways after high school.

You had gotten into the university of Saint Andrew in Scotland and were doubtful you would get to see Jeff again anytime soon.

"I always hated this stupid hill." Jeff said without a hint of excitement as he dragged on along behind you. You had noticed that since Jeff's parents had left him he has been more depressed than usual. He had always been open with you about his alcoholism and obsession with dead animals so why couldn't he tell you what was wrong.

"Jeff are you okay." You asked concerned for your friend. It was like a never ending periods with Jeff. The constant mood changes to upper hyper to completely depressed. It hurt thinking that Jeff would purposely not tell you something.

"I'm fine it's just......I feel like......I don't know if i can tell you i did something terrible." Jeff said seemingly looking for the right words to say to you.

"(Y,N) last night I picked up a hick hiker and well......." his tone became more quit as the sentence continued. You thought he would say something along the lines of I got laid but nope.

"Look all I can say is I don't thing he will be around long." He looked relieved that he found the right words but to you it made no sense.

"Okay Jeff lets pretend you don't come from another planet and try to take earth speak." You said trying to make light of a seemingly hard conversation. It was hard to understand Jeff on the best of times but today he seemed emotional and that was never good for Jeff.

"I -I hurt him." Was all Jeff said as he decided that you were both walking to slow and starting to talk faster. His long legs made it hard for you to keep up with him.

"Okay let's just enjoy the sunset and then you can tell me....you know you can trust me." You said linking arms with your gay friend and made your way further up the last bit of hill for the most breath taking view.

"If only you know what I did you would look at me completely differently." Those were the last words Jeffrey Dahmer directly said to you before you both separated. Those words never made sense before but seeing the news papers a few years later it all made sense. You had sat watching the sunset with a murderer.
