Poem in the End

Mother's Day never comes,

Father's Day, oh so numb.

When seasons strike a pause, and nothing changes.

I keep turning pages,

But in the end, it's still just a bird-"Nevermore."

This pizza is tasteless,

Words come up, but they're tangled, such a mess.

I've been walking for some time now,

Still pebble in my shoe, wow...

Everything's moving so fast, yet everything's so dull...

Faces fade into void and become null-

Yet every time I think,

All the time in the world becomes blotted in ink.

I try and try to get through the day,

But I'll forget my pen's in the way.

Talk a mile, trace a smile,

But ponder a while,

What you've been reading this whole time.

You've lost your mind-

Cuz all this time, you've been doing nothing..

Nothing but reading this from a dear friend,

But all this time you've been reading a poem in the end.
