"Yah! Are you crying?" Lee Hyejin nudged the boy beside her as she handed him a water bottle. "Bo?! Who's crying?!" yelled her best friend and partner in crime, Jeon Jungkook.
The two sat on the floor after Jungkook failed to get into the next round in Superstar K. Hyejin went with him because he bugged her until she eventually gave up. She didn't really want to go because an audition would mean a lot of people and Hyejin hated crowds but because Jungkook was so annoying, she ended up going after all.
When Jungkook performed, Hyejin felt so proud that her best friend was finally going to make it but she didn't expect the judges to fail Jungkook. She was shocked and angry and she could only imagine what Jungkook must be feeling. She tried to encourage him but he wouldn't meet her eyes. Now they were slumped quietly against the wall on the busy hallways of CJ Entertainment.
"Excuse me?" a casting agent approached Jungkook.
The rest is history.
