I See You Hunter (demonstuck Jake x Dirk)

Chapter One- little girl

Dirks POV
I am with Roxy and Jane, two demon friends of mine that I've known for a long time, they're helping me search for a little hunter I have my eye on "Dirky why can't we just go after a less dangerous hunter for once" Roxy whined and I turn to her and growl "I only want him so he's my target. Either stay or go. No one's making you stay here" I say making my eyes glow a bright orange and Jane walked over to me and put her hand on my shoulder.

She is trying to calm me down and it's kinda working, I've been stressed that someone else will get him before me and I guess I've taken that anger out on them "don't worry we'll get him" she said and I nodded and calmed down slightly. I claimed Jake English as my kill and these two know it but that doesn't change the fact I'm on edge about it, any demon could find him right now and I know they wouldn't care he belongs to anyone.

What I mean by mark is.

There was a hunters meeting and Jake was invited, a whole bunch of demons stormed the place killing hundreds of hunters all at once, very exciting, but Jake English got out alive, injured very badly but alive, so I'm on my way with Jane and Roxy to find him and have my fun.

On that note, he's my kill and I won't let any other demon get to him before me but even so I shouldn't be an ass about it to my friends for helping me "there's a scent of blood going this way and its strong" Roxy says and points in the direction of a old barn on top of a hill, I've been there many times alone just to think, that barn is tied to my past in a way I rather soon forget but why would someone who's injured go there? It's like a death wish, a hunter no less too, that's like demon bait galore.

I look over at Jane who is scoping the place out "I smell death and its strong, we should check it out" Jane says and I nod in agreement to go to the barn "let's check it out he may be there if we're lucky" I say and they nodded and we went towards the barn and I can see what Jane meant, I can smell death and it is very strong maybe someone found him before I could? No way, DAMN IT!! I hope not he's my kill and mine alone, we make fast strides to the bar and soon get there and our tails are out and our eyes are glowing. We need at least a little excitement.

"You two can go if you want I'll check this out" I said and they nodded and left, once they where gone I went into my human form and made my way into the barn "hey is someone alive in here" I say and slowly walk inside till I hear a faint voice "help me please" it was a females voice "where are you" I asked and looked around and smelled the air lightly, blood... that's the only sent in the barn, I walk over to where the smell is strongest and see a small girl with dark brown hair and broken glasses she looked like a small girl version of English, as I look at her I see she's in a bad state, closer to death then any normal kid should be.

"What's your name little one" I say calmly and crouch down next to her she cries lightly and looks over to me blood covered her chest and her hands she must have been a future hunter and went to the gathering "I'm Jade" she said quietly then started coughing up blood I picked her up and sat her on a hay bail she winced at the pain "your a future hunter right" I said and her face lit up in fear I guess she couldn't since I was a demon "are you... a demon... or a hunter?" Jade asked and she looked scared for either one "that's not important if you can't tell your about to die" I said and it sounded way worse then what I was aiming for.

Jade smiled lightly "I can tell" she said and I tried to keep my emotions in check, I was once in this barn near my death when a friend saved me, no matter what no child is aloud to die in this barn alone "hey I'm going to help you okay" I said and fixed my shades making sure to hide my eyes "I'm pretty much dead" she said and laughed bitterly then cleared her throat "my uncle saved me and brought me here, he said to hide and stay alive he was in better shape then me but then again you can't be a world class hunter and die so easily now can you... he is looking for something he can't have and will die just to have a taste of it" she started to cry and I pulled her close to me and she calmed down.

I leaned and whisper sang into her ear a spell to heel her "fall fall away from here to a land to disappear close your eyes and listen here I will show you a heart filled with no fear pain is gone and eyes shut close you'll be alive when the curtains close" I sang and pulled away to see she was asleep and breathing fine that spell should heel her.

I lay her down safely then start to clean up the blood before any other demons smell it when I'm done I sit at the entrance and watch the sun go down and watch the moon take the place of the sun in the sky, I hear a branch snap and I look around quickly to see a shadowed figure making its way to the barn so I hide inside on the top floor and watched the person come inside "Jade! Jade! you here sweety" it was English himself.
