The New Job

1 Year Later

I sat down on one of the tables and watched my 7 year old daughter alongside other kids, laughing and clapping at the animatronics on stage. I was 27 years old and was a single father with no job, how I got into this mess? I don't know. "If my memory serves me correct that's Bonnie, Freddy and Chica up on stage, with Foxy and Mangle performing on the other stage" I said to myself looking around.

"That's correct" someone said from across the table. "Who are you?" I asked. "My name's Nick, I'm the owner of this place" the now named Nick said. "Oh, nice restaurant you have here" I said trying to be friendly. "Thanks, so how are doing for yourself?" He replied. "Not too good, single father, no job..." I started to say.

"No job?" Nick said cutting me off. "Yeah, I'm sort of short on money" I replied. "Daddy, can we get something to eat?" Said my daughter Sarah as she walked up to us. "Sorry Sarah, not enough money" I replied. "How about a pizza? On me" Nick smiled waving a waiter down. "Thank you for this" I smiled.

Time Skip: 15 minutes

"Thank you so much for this" I said to Nick as we finished our last bite. "Daddy, I'm going to see the show at pirate cove" said Sarah leaving the table. "So remember what you said about no job?" Said Nick.

"Our night guard got moved to the day shift, so we need a new night guard" he added. "I'll take it" I smiled. "Come to my office then" he replied.

Time Skip: 30 minutes

Nick showed me around the place and the office I stayed in during the night shift. "See you tonight" he waved to me as I left the parking lot with my daughter. I drove back to my sisters house where I was temporarily staying. "Hey bro, back from Freddy's with Sarah?" My sister said as I walked inside. "Yeah, best part? I got a job!" I said. "Well, 'bout time" she replied with a smile.

Time: 12am

I drove into the parking lot of the pizzeria and walked inside to my office, I yawned and started looking at the cameras. RING, RING! The phone in my office started going off, "Hello?" I said when I answered it.

"Hey Bryan, it's your boss, a couple of things to mention, first this place runs on a generator at night so you won't have much power, second the animatronics do walk around at night so do be wary of that... I'm sure you can handle it, see you tomorrow!" He said hanging up, I looked through the cameras. "This is going to be easy" I thought to myself.
