i sighed heavily as i got into my car. i heard a faint tapping on the passengar window, and automatically looked over.

"can i help you?" i croaked out, my throat sore from smoking so much today.

"um, i just wanted to tell you that your trunk is open.... and everything is getting wet." a pretty blonde girl said faintly, and i heavy sighed.

of fucking course.

i got out again and closed it, making sure it was closed this time, in the process getting soaked.

it was currently november in columbus ohio. it was rainy and cold and i personally loved it. i got back into the car and lit up a joint.

hello beautiful

i take a deep hit and cough like a mad man.

after finishing the joint off, i put my car into reverse and looked behind me to make sure nobody was coming. as soon as it was clear i backed up and headed home.

i saw a pretty boy walking down the street, obviously angry that he had to walk in the rain.

i ran my fingers through my wet, silver hair and rolled down the window.

"hey, your name is tyler, right?" i yell out at the boy.

he nodded, his skinny jeans and oversized hoodie absolutely soaked.

"how bout i give you a lift tyler?" i asked out, and he smiled widely.

"thanks man" he said quietly as he got into the passenger seat, shivering from being so cold.

"how bout we get you warmed up? wanna go get some hot chocolate or something?" i asked him gently, as i took off my jacket and wrapped it around his fragile frame. kk

i blasted the heat and turned some music on in the background quietly.

"what's your name?" the small boy managed to get out.

"oh i-im josh. joshua dun. i go by josh though... " i say shakily as i laugh a little bit.

i don't know why i figured that he would know my name, i'm a nobody here.

"um, joshua?" the small boy asked

"yes ty?" i reply softly, worried that for some reason if i spoke loudly i would hurt him in some way."

"i like ihop" he said with a smile.

and as i heard those words, i turned my blinker on and make what would eventually be a familiar left into the small ihop diner on mariner avenue.

just some background info, tyler is 17 and josh is 18, they are both seniors. ty is fem so be expecting that.
