The big day

Standing ovation! Rachel St. James just received her first tony award for her role in the broadway musical Jane Austen sings. As of now, Rachel is in tears as her husband Jessie and her two closest friends Kurt and Blaine are applauding her. She walks off stage and kisses her husband as everyone congratulates her on the success. "I knew you could do it" said Jessie. Rachel smiles and cries some more. Kurt and Blaine walk up to her, "congratulations Rachel, We are so proud of you. Look how far you've come. How far we've come" said Blaine as he gave Rachel a hug.
The award show by now finished around eight and everyone is clearing the venue. 30 minutes passed and they finally arrived to the car. Jessie is driving, Rachel is passenger, Blaine and Kurt are in the back. They all decide to go and enjoy a dinner in honor of Rachel's big accomplishment. Jessie parked in front of the restaurant, got out the car and opened the door for Rachel. Paparazzi are there taking pictures and asking how she felt about winning a tony award. "I feel like my life is complete. I put in so much work into my life and everything that I do and I know that I deserved this award. But I couldn't do it without these people that were by my side through every bump in the road" Rachel replied to them. They continued to walk towards the doors of the restaurant. "I love you so much" Jessie whispers into Rachel's ear as they walk through the big glass doors of the restaurant. The finally made it inside of this beautiful and expensive restaurant. A man walked up to them and greeted them politely. "Good evening, how many?" Rachel replied "four and one on the way" everyone giggled. The tall white man guided them to a table. The restaurant was very elegant and peaceful. The lights were dimmed just right and their was a man playing soft and gentle songs on a piano just across them. A tall blond waitress named Hannah approached their table. "Hello, my name is Hannah and I will be your server tonight. Can I start you guys off with drinks?". Jessie and Blaine get a coke, Rachel and Kurt get water. The waitress proceeded to get there drinks. "Words cannot explain how proud Iam of you babe" Jessie says to Rachel as he holds her hand. "Yeah, us too" says Kurt and Blaine. They start talking about Rachel's show and about the good old times in the glee club and how far they've all come. Then Blaine asks Rachel how their baby is. "He's doing great. He kicks sometimes but other than that, he's a perfect baby". " I can't thank you enough for doing this and making me and Kurt the luckiest couple in the world. Words cannot explain how grateful we are." He turns to Kurt and says "I can't wait to meet our baby." Rachel smiles and says "it's my pleasure". The waitress gives them their drinks and asks if they wanna order. They start to place each of their orders. But, Out of a sudden Rachel freezes and has this weird expression on her face. "My water" she says. Jessie turns to Rachel and says "she already brought you your water honey" as he giggles. The Rachel gets up and screams "no, my water just broke! I'm gonna have the baby!". Everyone gets up and start running towards the door. While in the car Rachel is breathing heavily and Jessie has one hand on the wheel and the other holding her hand tight. Blaine and Kurt are calling the hospital so they could have everything set up for the arrival of their baby boy. "Are we almost there?!" Screams Rachel as she is in pain. "Almost just a couple more blocks honey, just keep breathing". Five minutes pass and they arrive at the hospital. They get out of the car and run through the sliding doors. As they arrive in the hospital, there to greet them were a couple of there old friends from the glee club. They were there for support and also cause they can't wait to see the baby. Rachel is so happy to see them but she's about to pop and doesn't have enough time to greet them all. A nurse brings a wheel chair for Rachel to sit down on while she is being taken to the delivery room. Rachel quickly changes out of her beautiful long dress she wore to the award show into a hospital gown she has been given by the nurse. By now Rachel is on the bed with a bunch of machines attached to her. Contraction after contraction Rachel is in pain. But luckily she had the three most important people by her side. Her husband and her two best friends. "Well your about ready to have this baby" says the doctor as he walks into the room. "Are you ready Rachel?". Rachel nods and it begins. It's around 10pm by now and everyone is in the waiting room getting up to date with each other and excited to meet the baby. Hours have passed and it's 12 am. Rachel is pushing and pushing while Blaine and Jessie are holding her hands. Kurt is talking to Rachel and blowing air towards her cause she was sweating. "One more push Rachel come on!" Kurt screams. One last final push and then.... the cries of a new born baby filled the delivery room. Blaine looks at Kurt and a tear rolls down each of their face. Kurt and Blaine get close to see their beautiful baby boy. The doctor hands Rachel the baby and She holds him tight. She kisses him on the forehead and hands him to Blaine. Blaine is crying and holding the baby boy in his arms with gentle care and love. The baby opens his eyes and looks at Blaine. Those big hazel eyes just gaze at his father. Kurt looks over blaines shoulder and says "he has your eyes". He hands him back to Rachel and then decides to go announce it to all their friends in the waiting room. At 1:30am Blaine walks into the waiting room and screams out "it's a boy!". Everyone is cheering and some in tears while they are congratulating Blaine. They all quietly go into the delivery room where Rachel and the new baby are in. They walk in and find Kurt holding the baby wrapped in a a blanket. Mercedes grabs him first and everyone huddles around her. "Have you guys decided on a name?" Mercedes asks Rachel. Rachel points at Kurt. Kurt Is looking down and has a serious face. Finally, Kurt looks up at Mercedes with a smile and says "Finn. His name is Finn".
