Dean's little sister, Elena's best friend, Caroline's best friend, Bonnie's best friend. This is how Artemis Walker was identified at Mystic Falls High School. The girl with the jet black hair was the most unknown out of her group of friends, not that it mattered to her. Popularity was the last thing on her mind due to her brother, Dean's, sudden passing. The town's council had filed Dean's death as an animal attack.
Artemis was never one to believe in superstitions or the supernatural for that matter but knew something wasn't right when bodies began dropping one by one. After endless nights of research, Artemis found an unlikely explanation to bodies being drained of blood. Vampires. From then till now, Artemis became obsessed with Vampires and their origin along with the many tales written about them. If only Artemis knew her newfound obsession was right in front of her.
