Hopeless Fountain Kingdom (HFK)

Establishing the story

Hopeless Fountain Kingdom is Halsey's version of Romeo and Juliet, following the story of her breakup, there's a story that you see through the videos which is like a movie and then Halsey's real story of her breakup (which I'm guessing didn't involve a shoot out and a celebration of death!) In this story I am going to focus on the world Halsey has created, this first chapter is some info about the characters, houses and the Kingdom in general. I am also very keen on all of your thoughts!

Lets start with the two main characters; Luna Aureum and Solis Angelus.

Luna (meaning moon) is portrayed by Halsey and is the Romeo in this story, she belongs to the house of Aureum. She is in a relationship with,

Solis (meaning sun) is portrayed by Don Lee and is the Juliet in this story, he belongs to the house of Angelus.

Aureum (meaning Golden) is the hfk version of the house of Montague, the people in the house of Aureum are more reckless and engage in sex, drugs, etc. Angelus (meaning Angel) is the hfk version of the house of Capulet, the people in the house of Angelus are more religious.

In the middle of The Kingdom is a fountain with two koi fish in it. The two fish swim around each other in circles, and there is a prophecy that once they catch each other, love can actually exist in the Kingdom, but they never caught each other. Luna and Solis were the only ones actually born into their houses, so it was thought they are meant to fulfil this prophecy, but their families (houses) tried to keep them apart because they thought the Kingdom wouldn't be able to handle love. Some members of both houses try to come up with an escape plan for Luna and Solis, but it doesn't go down well which we will talk about later on... (You can read more info on the prophecy here: vulture.com/2017/06/what-it-means-to-be-halsey.html)

Through out the next chapters I am going to explain the songs, and the story that goes throughout the album, to be honest I don't feel like the storyline is that clear. After I have done that I will talk about the story in the videos.
