"Obi Wan scolded me as well for attachments, you were there," said Anakin, "I'm just passing along the message because it goes for you too."

Before she could argue, the scanners started to beep and flash. Anakin lunged out of his seat and dove in front of Ella to take a look at the screens. She rolled her eyes and leaned back out of his way.

"No R2, but there's a ship!" He exclaimed. As he jumped back into his seat, his high energy restored, Ella merely scowled at him and rested her elbows on the dashboard. He was so moody.

Just ahead of them was a large junky freighter meandering slowly through the debris field. "It's a scavenger," Anakin pointed out, "which means they've got to have R2 if he's around."

Ella scoffed, "Good luck getting him back."

"What's that supposed to mean?" He asked sharply, defensive over his lost droid.

She leaned closer to him. "You're talking to a former scavenger. Everyone knows if a Jedi wants something, their enemies want it to. You consult both, see which one will give you the most money."

"Then we'll just have to give them an offer he can't refuse," he chirped. Out of his backpack, Anakin tossed her a white poncho. "Now we look like commoners."

Ella slipped the poncho over her head, disgusted by how it looked on her. She looked like a box since it covered her usual figure fitting leather.

They connected their ship to the larger one then used the lift that extended from theirs to the scavenger's. On the platform they stood on, R3 took up most of the room, much to Anakin's annoyance.

As soon as they ascended into the scavenger's freighter and long metal rod with an eye at the end extended from the walls. Ella took a step back as it moved close to her face. She went to grab the hilt of her lightsaber. Before she could Anakin quickly grabbed her shoulder and pulled her in next to him.

"What the f-" Ella whispered sharply, but he shushed her and smiled fakely up at the eye.

"My wife and I here, would like to be an R2 unit, you sellin'?" He said casually squeezing her tightly.

Immediately, the door rolled halfway open and small fat creature climbed through them. "R2 unit, eh?" It grumbled at them.

"Yes, she really has her heart set on one. She lost the last one and it absolutely broke her heart," he said, acting sad. Ella had no reaction until Anakin squeezed her once more. She perked up, smiling and nodding.

The creature glared at them for a moment. "There's none for sale," he growled.

"Alright, thank you Sir," Anakin said politely, much to her surprise. She thought he was going to lash out like usual. He made his way back over to the lift. "C'mon, R3," He said loudly checking behind him to see if the scavenger heard him.

"An R3 unit?" He asked curiously.

Anakin smiled, "Oh yes, we're looking to trade him for the R2 unit we want."

"I may have one in holding," the creature smiled slyly as he looked at R3, "you're free to look." It pressed a button and two grubby doors slid open revealing a dark storage room. "Be careful down here, there are many- unique items."
