I woke up at the sound of the alarm. I groaned and thought. 'Oh my. Morning already?' I sat up and looked at the time while rubbing my eyes slowly hoping that I would be able to go to school without being kicked out for sleeping. I mean first day of school, why would I want to miss that? (Sarcastic)
I got up and walked slowly towards the door, making the floor creak beneath me. I yawned and reached for the doorknob until..
*ring* *ring*
I looked at my phone near my lamp as it slowly moved because of the vibration. I mumbled curses and went back to get it. I grabbed the metal gadget and looked at the screen. I glanced at the caller and rolled my eyes, letting out a small chuckle. I tapped the screen and a voice screamed.
"OH MY GOD I'M SO EXCITED"
I squinted my eyes in pain as my hand moved away from my face.
"Rika. Why aren't you preparing yet?" I asked while I proceeded to go outside my safe haven(which is my room) and went looking for my parents. "Me? Oh I'm at school. I CAN'T WAIT AHHHH" Rika squealed. I saw a note pinned on the fridge saying,
Dear Cornilia,
We're sorry that we can't really go with you to school because your father and I are very busy. Hope you do well. Muah
Love, Mom xoxo
"--Heyyyy are you still listening to mee?" Rika whined. "Oh yeah, yeah. Sorry was reading something. " I said as I grabbed the handle of the fridge and opened it. I saw a full meal ready for me, bacon and eggs. My favorite. I grabbed it and checked if it was still hot. Yes. Maybe mom just placed it a minute ago.
"Ohhh you gotta huurrryy up! You wouldn't want to miss the trainn." Rika explained in a monotone voice. "Yes please, the lady needs her daily dose of meal. So shush. I'm going." I chuckled as I grabbed a spoonful and tasted the delight of my breakfast. "Okay, okayyyy be waiting at the front gate. BYEEE" with that, the call ended replacing the girl's voice with a beep.
I placed my phone at the table as I finished eating, doing the rest of my routine.

I looked at myself in the mirror wearing the school uniform. Jet black polo and a dark blue skirt. I let out a sigh as I grabbed my bag and proceeded outside.
I was not shocked to see a giant bird waiting for me with its usual set of armor. I reached out to his face and scratched his beak. "Hello Acnabus." He let out a friendly tweet. I placed my bag on the bag holder near the foot of the animal and jumped on its back. As the wind flowed, its milky brown feathers waved with the wind.
It jumped once and set out for flight. I saw the usual scenery of busy people, green environment and of course--
"Hey Cornilia! Happy morning ey?" I happen to see a guy with a scruffy beard cheering happily while riding his griffin. Kinda reminds me of Hagrid. (Harry Potter)
"Oh hey Drake. Air Patrol?" I try to say loudly while not trying to eat my hair. "Yes. Good luck! Hoping to see another Druid in the family!" He said while he launched himself down as he saw a commotion happening.
Yes. You heard right. A Druid.
Our city has become very sensitive to social classes and instead changed it like you have your race. Due to the exposure of the Arcanum in the center of the town, the people that dwell in here are exposed to magic particles making them own magical abilities that will cling to their lives forever. The classes that were teached to us were only the basic ones. Warriors, Drakes, Druids, Priests, Mages and Champions.
