I let out a quiet growl as I watched the creature move around the gravestones, occasionally going over to the girl that was currently unconscious, but slowly waking up. She lifted her head with a groan, glancing around fearfully. She caught sight of me and stiffened, her back pressed against the gravestone she was tied to. I lifted a finger to my lips, telling her to stay quiet. She nodded once, almost imperceptible.

"Are you alright?" I mouthed, glancing at the humanoid creature. She shrugged slightly, shaking her head once.

"Don't worry, I'll get you out of here." She gasped, and the being turned to her.

"Dicks," I muttered, biting my lip.

"What are you gasping at? What did you see?" The low voice of my ex-boyfriend rang out and I growled again. He struck the girl when she didn't answer, her head whipping to the side and cracking against the headstone.

"No more out of you. I plan to enjoy killing you, and if you make me angry, It won't be fun for either of us."

"Are you serious? Dean, let's go, there's nothing here."

"Shut up Sammy, I heard something." I blinked, hearing familiar tones.

'The Winchesters? What the dicks are they doing here?' I thought to myself, unsheathing my blade.

"Dean, come on. I'm beat, let's go back to the motel." The creature had now moved off, seemingly to check on the two voices. That meant I could free the girl.

"Thank god for those two idiots," I muttered, cutting the girl free.

"Thank you!" She gasped, throwing herself at me.

"Whoa, calm down sweetheart. We're not in the clear just yet. I need you to do something for me, alright?"

"O-okay." She murmured, stepping back.

"Alright, I need you to run as quickly as you can, just get yourself outta here. Did you hear those two men talking?" She nodded, and I continued.

"Good. Find them. They'll be able to help you. Their names are Sam and Dean Winchester. They're old friends of mine. 'Specially Sammy. Anyways, once you find them, stay with them, alright? And if they ask what happened, tell 'em a shapeshifter took you and a hunter saved you."

"W-wait, what if that guy comes back, or finds me instead?" I cursed, mentally hitting myself.

"Dicks, I forgot about that. Here." I pulled a small dagger out of a sheath hidden under my jeans and handed it to her.

"If he finds you, stab him in the stomach with this and run. Got it?" I opened my mouth to tell her to go, but she cut me off, her voice wavering.

"What's your name?" I swallowed. I hated sharing my name with strangers, or random people that I've had to save because of their idiocy.

"Call me Nyk."

"Should I tell them your name? Are you coming too?" She questioned, shaking slightly. I started to shake my head, but paused, listening.

"Yes, and no. Now run!" I snapped, nudging her away.

"Who is that talking? Are you conversing with my next meal for a reason?"

"Tch. Maybe I wanted to have a word with you, Roi."

"Nykole? It's been awhile, my dear."

"Shut it. I don't want to have to hear that voice any more than I absolutely have to." I snapped, causing the shapeshifter in front of me to chuckle.

"And here I thought you would've appreciated my choice in style. Guess you really have gotten over him. Sad, really." I narrowed my eyes, spinning my blade in my hand.
